Fish tank came in and was super easy to set up. The LED lights did not work, and with further investigation I saw a lot of reviews on here about the lights not working or stopped working along with issues with the filter. Call/email the company. They will replace it, we have a new lid with the lights being shipped out to us. Hopefully the new one works and we have no further issues ... show more

I would like to start out by saying I absolutely love this tank so far, and so do my fish. But it didn’t come without its problems so I can’t give it a five star like I would want. The main issues are that with mine the button sinks in when you press it for the light so I can’t use the timer function because I can barely reach it, it’s as if the panel is not set it place and there’s no way to open up the light in order to fix it. Besides that it, did come with some scratches on the back of the tank, but they’re barely noticeable once you put the water in. I’m just worried about eventual leaking honestly. My biggest issue with this tank is that it comes with two cut outs that are optional to remove, but if you do want to remove them it’s nearly impossible, took me like 30 minutes, broke a pair of my scissors so I had to use a knife instead, and they’re so hard to remove that I almost cut myself multiple times. I just wish since they’re meant to be removed they would be more simple to actually pull off the lid. Other than these few issues, I really do like the tank, it’s a great size for my couple of fish and a great upgrade from the 3gal I had prior. If you are thinking about getting a start up tank kit I highly recommend this, especially because it comes with a filter, could it be a better quality filter? Yes, but it’s a good start. I bought this tank for two goldfish my son won at the fair. Very nice little aquarium, and the color changing led light is very cool, but a little touchy to operate. Came with additional filters that may outlast the fish. Pump is a little noisy if not filled up to the top. However. Best bang for the money starter tank hands down. ... show more

I've had this tank for almost 2 months now, so I feel pretty comfortable and confident about giving an honest review. I had bought this tank for guppy fish. I was planning on keeping. For a 5 gallon tank, from my research online you could comfortably fit about three guppies. The tank was in great condition, the filter worked great! I personally invested in an air stone, air pump, thermometer, and water heater for my tank. The lights work perfectly. Still, no mold growing like I saw in a few other reviews. The only thing I will say, I just replaced the filter for a little bit of a better one. It was very hard for me to find filter cartridges for the one that they provided with the tank. So I just switched to an Aqeuon quick flow filter for a 5-10 gallon tank. ... show more

The only thing i dislike about this product is that you have to be careful when cleaning it cause the plastic scratches easy. Other than that it’s great! You might want to invest in a better filter though. The one it comes with is ok but doesn’t offer much filtration.

Tank arrived very well packaged and exactly as advertised. As many other reviews mentioned, I had issue with the lid lights - they never worked. I contacted the company and they were very helpful and are sending a new lid. My fish are enjoying their new home

The tank and lights seem fine. The filter is too big for a Betta. We got a betta for our child's birthday. The fish didn't last 24 hours, got suctioned to the intake of the filter. While we are not 100% sure this caused her death, she didn't act the same after that happened. Water was cycled,tested, and right where it should be for the fish. We now have a different filter hooked up and waiting for everything to cycle again before adding a replacement Betta. ... show more
