but for light duty work, they're most likely fine.. They are a little roughly machined though, so if you're doing fine work that could scratch or be damaged, I'd suggest using a sheet of silicone baking material or something else to absorb some of the roughness from the tool. Even ducttape or electrical tape might help. If you're handy and you want to take a sanding to these to clean up the edges on the tooling, you won't do too bad with this ultra cheap set of hand tools. ... show more

Outside of a little rust dust and some abrasions upon arrival this set doesn't seem too bad for the price. I would never consider this as my go to, but for my budget this and simple lack of tools, this makes for a decent starter set of pliers. Adjusting the Vise Grip is obnoxious since the threads are smoothed out completely. It'll catch little up or down but nonetheless it will suffice for now. ... show more

I bought the WORKPRO W009037A 322-Piece Home Repair Hand Tool Kit Basic Household Tool Set with Carrying Bag - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B019MDJMS6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - and I felt like it was missing a channel-lock / groove-joint, a vise-grip/ locking and a slip-joint plier. Enter this set. I like that the 3 pliers I needed match the others in the toolkit: same bright colored handles. Good quality for $17.99 price. Things that I did not appreciate: - the adjustable wrench is already part of the basic tool kit (so not needed) - the adjustable wrench is not matching the set: does not have a red+blue handle, where as the one in the basic toolkit has it. It is also just a 1" opening, while the one that came with the basic is a 1 1/4" opening. - The channel-lock / groove-joint plier feels a little small. ... show more

Prime delivery came with USPS and didn’t even knock our door and got notifications for fail to deliver. I didn’t pay Prime for this. If you live in Apartments with small mail box be aware that may have to pick up yourself Good for young man starting tools to have. Got some tools from Dad that wasn’t enough to do everything. Not bad but definitely not good. The locking pliers don't hold as hard as vice grips do and the adjustable wrench is soft so it bends with certain nuts. Overall not bad, you get what you pay for, and they're not expensive

I wish I had the cash to spend on bigger name brand tools right now, but I don't. These pliers are of serviceable quality: they aren't milled perfectly, but the teeth and joints fit into place well enough. They're good enough for light home applications (e.g. we needed to replace a showerhead), and they worked perfectly. Time will tell if they hold up, but I'm happy as of now. ... show more
