My knees don't slip out of them and they don't slide around unless I want them to. They're pretty comfortable for a knee pad and putting them on is quite easy. There pads are well designed and constructed. I find them comfortable in use and the non-slop design of the pads helps if you are on a wet or slippery surface. I like that they are lightweight. The flexible straps are easily adjustable, while putting them on is a piece of cake with the metal pins. There is gel and foam in them, but the outer shell is very sturdy and offers great protection on concrete floors. They are not flexible, which is actually very comfortable, because it means they give stability and somehow make it easy to walk with.
