For the $$$ seems to be a nice little light duty polisher. As far as the trigger lock,, you can cut a 3/16 square nut in half, and it will fit nicely under the lock slide. A small drop of super glue will hold in place, but a small screwdriver will pop it out if needed.

The unit has a safety lever for the left and right hand. You must press on the lever to engage the motor. This is tiresome when wanting to use the unit for more than a minute. Otherwise the body is solid. It comes with a 3 inch plate to affix polishers or sanders. Other than the safety switch the unit can be a pleasure to own. ... show more
