    • Simple, solid, and accurate
I'm a very big fan of Workpro's torpedo level. It hits the sweet spot of being simple to use, solidly built, and accurate. First, it comes with horizontal, vertical, and 45-degree indicators. Thoughtfully, there is a cutout above the vertical indicator so that you can read it from any angle. The horizontal indicator also has three line indicators on each side instead of two to make it a bit easier to read. The body of the level is made of aluminum, with some light texturing on the bottom to make your grip more secure. The base also has a series of magnets along its length which allow for the level to be securely attached to a metal surface, but not so attached that it's a pain to remove. I tested all three indicators against surfaces I knew were perfectly horizontal, vertical, and at 45 degrees, and all read correctly on the Workpro level. I would've given this level an easy five stars, but I am taking one off because the product description states that an "Integrated ruler provides measuring marks in both metric and imperial scale" but there are no such markings on the level. ... show more
