These pumps have an external pipe for air intake and exhaust. They are all sold in this specific configuration, no matter the part number, vendor, or manufacturer. But my car uses a different configuration. I simply swapped the pipe on this pump for the one from the pump I replaced, easy-peezy. The pump is heavy and it's difficult to get it in position let alone hold it there while attaching the nuts that secure it. The mounts are a rubber sleeve, a spring, and two metal pieces that have to all fit together just so. Several reviews complain about noise, and I wonder if perhaps they didn't quite get the mounts right. Also, I notice the new pump now _because_it's_working_ which the old pump _didn't_ I'd rather hear the pump than have the car sitting on the ground. This pump is great. It used to take minutes to raise the car – when it would raise. Now it always works and it takes seconds. I should have replaced my pump long ago.

No I am stuck with a device that doesn't work and having to pay for another one. I am considering canceling my prime membership and never using Amazon for anything again! Highly disappointed.
