I have a Porter Cable drill press, 15 in. 12 speed. Bought it at Lowe's. I found out pretty quick that no one makes a table specifically for this drill press. I read lots of reviews on several different tables and a common complaint was that none seemed to fit quite right. I was a little worried about spending big bucks on a table that may or may not fit my drill press. So i decided to get one of the less expensive models. Saw lots of reviews on this model here on Amazon and all in all seemed like it was worth the risk. I have to say I was not disappointed. The table itself showed up and is exactly as described. The hardware that comes with it was good quality, not great, but better than you might expect for the price. I really have no complaints about the table, fence, slots or hardware. I gave this product 5 stars because i was really impressed with the quality considering it's an inexpensive drill press table. Keep in mind, that is exactly what you get. Now, as for the "universal" clamps that come with this table. They are not universal enough to fit this drill press. I was able to use what they supplied to make something that does work. But this is exactly why i was afraid to buy one of the more expensive models. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who occasionally needs a drill press table. Definitely not a heavy duty, or professional model. But should work great for the hobbyist or part time user. ... show more

The table itself is made of cheap Chinese MDF with laminate on both sides. Not a fault of the table, but mine came damaged in shipping with a small chip on work surface face in one corner. The table has white edgeband wrapping around, and it's strange that the seam is to the front ( as the table is mounted to a drill press ) - this doesn't detract from the functionality of the table, but aesthetically it's an odd choice of where to place the seam. The table insert is a 3/8" thick insert, and there are two taped on rulers/guides on each T track. The tracks are held in place with 3 flat head screws - I removed the screws and replaced with 6-32 T nuts from the underside and flat head machine screws to secure the tracks. I also went and sealed all exposed MDF surfaces ( as well as under the tracks when I had them off ) with a clear Minwax Polycrylic. The fence is OK, it works. It's made of the same cheap MDF, and I also sealed all exposed edges. The table is secured to the drill press via aluminum arms which mount to threaded inserts on the underside of the table. Each insert is held in place by 3 flat head screw. Mounting is a little off when securing to the roundish table on my Porter Cable 15" drill press, so I will probably remove this mount and replace with thru bolts recessed into the work surface for a better hold onto the drill press. Slight issues aside, for the price this is a decent little table which comes with T tracks and a functioning fence/stop combo. ... show more

    • Works well on old Craftsman Drill Press
This is a great drill table for the money. It easily attached to my original drill press table and provided a good platform to drill a series of holes in perfectly straight lines. I was able to use the fence to keep everything aligned perfectly, but to move the fence smoothly be sure the tracks are clear of wood shavings. I only used the stop block a couple of times but it did its job as it should. Didn't slip or move. Some reviewers had some trouble with the clamps pulling out of the table. I didn't encounter this. I snugged up the clamps but was careful not to over tighten. On my drill table, that was enough to keep it from moving. I got thinking about the reported clamp problem and wondered that if a rubber tool box liner between this table and the metal drill press table would solve any movement issues without having to overly tighten the clamps. In general, it was a good buy for me. Keep it clear of wood shavings and you should be able to adjust it easily and be able to drill holes accurately. ... show more

I wanted to write this up here in hopes that the search engines will pick it up as many people seem to have purchased the Porter Cable PCB660DP Drill Press from Lowes (Lowes Part 0078742) and are having issues with the table. It's not square on the edges, and the slots don't go all the way through so I found where many people have asked if any of these tables will mount to their press without modifications. It looks like I got the last one here, and I don't now how or if this table mounts differently than others here on Amazon of the same brand, but this one did clamp down to my Porter Cable without modification. Now with that said, it's not the tightest fit, and I will probably use a piece of angle to make it better, but this one did fit and work out of the box. It did not come with the T-Track Hold Downs like other tables, but you can get those here on Amazon. Just search for MLCS 944. ... show more

Product arrived well packed, and in good condition. You can purchase this product in slight variations from many other suppliers. The clamps for the drill press table are made from metal unlike several other companies clamps that are made from plastic. I would suggest buying the metal version. Fence is too high, and needs to be modified with a v cut where the drill chuck is. If you are a professional make your own. Otherwise, this table is ok for the home hobbyist. Could you make a better table--sure, but for considerably more cost than this table. ... show more
