A Cord That's Not Worth the Hype
Size: 6 ft
Ah, extension cords! The unsung heroes of our modern lives, stretching their elongated bodies to power up our devices and brighten our surroundings. But not all extension cords are created equal. Today, I'll be sharing my personal experience with the Woods 0600W 3-Outlet 16/2 Cube Extension Cord with Power Tap. This white cubical contraption promised convenience and functionality, but did it truly deliver? Let's dive in and find out! Appearance and Design: Upon unboxing the Woods 0600W extension cord, I couldn't help but chuckle at its cuboid shape. It resembled a mini Rubik's Cube, and I half expected it to solve itself with a flick of a switch. The white color gave it a clean and minimalist look, blending well with most interiors. The cord length, measuring 6 feet, was adequate for my needs, allowing me to plug it in conveniently without any hassle. Functionality and Performance: Now, let's get to the heart of the matter—does the Woods 0600W extension cord live up to its promises? Well, let's just say it had its ups and downs, quite literally. The three outlets provided ample space to plug in multiple devices simultaneously, which was a definite plus. However, the true disappointment lay in its power tap. The power tap feature is where the cord claims to shine, allowing you to rotate the outlets to different angles for maximum flexibility. Sadly, in reality, it felt more like playing a game of Russian roulette. Each time I tried to adjust the angle, the outlets seemed to have a mind of their own, rotating unpredictably or refusing to move altogether. It was like battling a stubborn Rubik's Cube, except without the satisfaction of solving it. Furthermore, the build quality left much to be desired. The cord felt flimsy and lacked sturdiness. It often tangled itself into knots, making it a hassle to untangle every time I needed to use it. The plugs didn't fit snugly into the outlets, resulting in occasional disconnections and power interruptions. This became particularly frustrating during important tasks or when I had guests over, as it disrupted the flow of work or entertainment. Safety Concerns: One cannot discuss an electrical device without addressing safety concerns. Unfortunately, the Woods 0600W extension cord left me with some worries in this department. Despite being advertised as a 16/2 cord, which implies its ability to handle 16 amps and 2 conductors, I noticed it heating up significantly after prolonged use with multiple devices plugged in. This raised concerns about potential overheating and fire hazards. I would highly advise caution and avoiding excessive load on this cord to prevent any unwanted mishaps. Helpfulness Tips: Handle with care: Due to the flimsy build, it's crucial to handle the cord gently and avoid any sharp bends or twists. Treating it like a fragile Rubik's Cube may increase its lifespan. Don't overload: Given the safety concerns mentioned earlier, it's best to avoid overloading the cord with high-power devices. Stick to low-power electronics to prevent overheating or potential hazards. Inspect regularly: Keep an eye on the cord's condition and check for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice fraying or exposed wires, it's time to retire the cord and invest in a safer alternative. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Woods 0600W 3-Outlet 16/2 Cube Extension Cord with Power Tap had its fair share of disappointments and quirks. While the cube design was visually appealing, the erratic behavior of the power tap, the flimsy build, and safety concerns made it difficult to fully embrace this product. However, if you're in need of a basic extension cord for low-power devices and can handle its unpredictable nature, it may serve its purpose.

Very handy!
Size: 6 ft
This 6ft 3-outlet extension cord is very handy to have! It is reliable, durable, and won’t break the bank! I’ve seen other brands of this same 6foot, 3 outlet extension cord for triple the price at big box retailers. I’d definitely swipe this up while you can. It’s one of those things that you really don’t think much about until you need it. So save yourself an extra trip and headache and just have one on hand for when you need it.

Works Great! despite price
Size: 6 ft
Some things in life are too good to be true. You usually get what you pay for. But these are normal extension cords you'd find at any store just for a fraction of the price point. I plan on buying another 7 or 8 when I can.

Yes it does its job
Size: 6 ft
However it's not three pronged, so you can't plug anything heavy duty into it

cheap and great
Size: 6 ft
I bought this extension cord to use with my laptop and phone charger in my bedroom. It works great and has enough outlets for my needs. The cord is long enough to reach the wall socket and the power tap is handy for plugging in other devices. The white color blends well with my furniture and walls. The cord is sturdy and flexible, and does not get tangled easily. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple and reliable extension cord.👍
