Seriously dangerous swing. We bought the swing maybe two weeks ago. My daughter swang maybe 15 times in that time period. She kept coming in complaining that her face is covered in tiny little black specs each time she swings. My husband and I thought it’s probably wood chipping from the wooden frame that swing is mounted to. Today my husband went to closer inspect. He climbed on the ladder, and this is what we saw. The hooks that hold the rope are totally worn. They’re near breaking. Thank goodness we caught it before they broke while she was swinging. My daughter could seriously get injured. I am super upset. This hooks by the way, came with the swing it’s part of the kit. The swing and the rope look good but these hooks are super cheap. We are going to Lowe’s to buy stainless steel hooks. The seller should seriously change these hooks to better quality before somebody gets injured.
