First shipment: Aromatic Red Cedar is both a beautiful and fragrant wood. Opening the box was a pure delight. Everything was packaged adequately and arrived on time. The shipping box was a little worse for the wear. I am overall very pleased with THIS order but when working with Woodchucks wood it can be hit or miss. Have had other packages from them lost and getting anyone to respond or help can be tough. Second shipment: This will be my last purchase from Woodchucks Wood. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a shipment of red cedar. I still have not been refunded for a missing box of hardwood cut offs from a month earlier. Unreliable and inconsistent. Yeah, the wood is mostly good quality but if you can't get it in a reasonable amount of time then best to go elsewhere. Update on 2nd shipment... still not here. reached out & "Dirk" was not helpful. incidentally, he was not very helpful with the missing hardwood cutoffs. I am officially done with Woodchuck. But beware...sometimes you buy from other storefronts and it is actually from Woodchuck. Look closely at the "Ships from" and "Sold by" so you can avoid this frustration. Shady people, very shady. Will be looking elsewhere to buy my very overpriced wood Update: Resolution. It's been almost a month, Amazon stepped up and provided a refund. Washing the "dirt" off of my hands. ... show more

I ordered the "solid red aromatic cedar hardwood" 16" length as described by seller. I did not receive what was described and what was sent is at 12" not 16". All wrong. Photo provided is what I received. According to Amazon the email to them failed. So what to do now....
