I bought this for my 3 year old Autistic grandson who is Sensory Seeking and non verbal. He makes certain sounds but not proper words. Every time he hit the cymbals he said “Woo” clear as a bell. He played for hours beating everything on this set. He’s now mastered is hand eye coordination and plays different items at the same time. This is the best… to watch my grandson laugh and have fun us the best feeling. I would recommend this set for any toddler. The size is perfect and lightweight so he can pick it up a carry it wherever he goes.

Just got this tonight and we will see how our little guy likes it! I bet he will LOVE it. The screw holes for the wooden tube portion and the cymbal seem not sturdily-made, and seem like perhaps the screw hole female end that you screw the parts into was perhaps installed upside down by the manufacturer, preventing the felt washers from sitting properly. Nonetheless, so long as it holds up, it was a good value for the money. I’ll update this review if it breaks.

My only complaint is the maracas barely make any shaker sound but otherwise this was an excellent buy. 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter uses it every time she’s here. I recommend.
