The media could not be loaded. This is a great way to massively increase the efficiency of a wood stove. We have a free standing wood stove that gets very hot, with this little fan we can actually distribute the heat in the whole upper level, very powerful. The nicest thing is that these fans run on heat so there is no electric cord or anything need, you don’t even have to switch them on/off. As soon the stove gets hot they start turning when the stove gets cold they turn off. These fans are absolutely silent you cannot hear them, even if you but you ear 0.5“ close to it you won’t hear anything. I will buy more so I can distribute heat in 3 directions. We purchased this to help move heat around our Wall Tent that we use for hunting. It definitely works fantastic and keeps the heat flowing. Just set it on the fireplace and once it heats up, it works! No batteries or power needed!

The media could not be loaded. It does work as advertised. The heat distribution isn’t phenomenal but it is better than nothing. Likely disperses more than is perceived due to lack of air channel. Probably would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t have any other fan to compare it to but what I can do is compare it to not having a fan at all in our 300 sq ft tiny home. From pics you can probably figure out which brand stove I have and that that brand’s fan is $50 more than this one. From a cold start of 32 interior degrees, this fan was able to get it to 75 in under 4 hours at night (so no help from the sun). We have pushed to see how hot we can get it 78 degrees with all areas open and 84 with the back closed off but I expect it would go higher if 84 didn’t feel like it was blazing to us (we are from wisconsin so we built our home with ability to close off the back for better temperature control). Without a fan, we couldn’t get our interior temp past 60 degrees burning it all day, at night we were barely squeaking by 55. The fan feels solid and well made. The fan is also very quiet except for when it does something to regulate itself when it’s too hot, even then the noise level is only slightly louder than the volume of the fire burning inside. Please note: per instructions of the fan, there was an ideal placement for it on a wood stove, but since our stove is small we could only place it in front of the chimney pipe, works well regardless.
