This is actually a pretty good little tool. If it were not for the bad instructions and the lack of information I'd give it a higher rating. The two fences that come with it are a puzzle I have yet to solve. There seems to be two commentator brushes--I am guessing--with no details. The router holder is cheap plastic that so far does the job but I am being careful not to break it as it appears fragile. The two mysterious fences that come with it are not explained in the skimpy instructions (written in the tiniest font imaginable), nor is there an illustration on how to use them. The screw with a knurled knob that attached the fence bracket won't go all the way through so I had to put in a washer to close the gap. I tried it out and aside from the fence dilemma it works fine and does the job adequately. For a cheap tool it's a bargain as long as it doesn't fall apart. Honestly I haven't used this yet. I received this as a gift and I am so excited to use it. I love routering and this one I am hoping will help me do more. The smaller size which only needing one hand I'm hoping won't bother my shoulders as much

    • Does not hold depth of cut adjustment!
The tool itself seem Ok, being a small portable tool with very high speed suitable for a router job. Operating manual on the other head is basically non-existent, it reads more like safety instructions. The main problem however is its depth of cut adjustment. The clear plastic jig with base plate and plastic tightening screw simply is not holding to the tool's sleek body, with the weight of the tool making it slip through the jig and gouging deep gashes in my work before I had time to react and turn it off. Following my mishaps I read carefully negative reviews and saw that others had similar experience. I ended up wrapping painters tape around the tool and using a couple of rubber bands between tool body and plastic jig to provide additional compression and friction and preclude depth slip. It makes a bit cumbersome to adjust depth but at least it holds it in place. ... show more

This router is very easy to use. it is light weight and has plenty of power for trimming or edging. It is nice that it comes with gloves. The gloves are great for grip and the tool does get worm after long usage at any one time.
