Having seen videos by pro installers who used planes from Stanley to trim off the locking ridge on LVP flooring, I ordered this plane thinking I could do the same. The blade on this plane was wrecked within a few passes, as was the blade of the Stanley I ordered. I transitioned to a carbide router blade mounted on a router attached to a router table. That did a great job and didn't get dull as this plane's blade did. That said, I like the look of this little plane and may use it for woodworking someday. I just hate sharpening plane blades, so it'll only satisfy me if it can hold an edge.... ... show more

I like the little planer but it wasn’t sharp when I received it. Will sharpen and use to trim bevel off laminate floor edges when needed.

It is really small. I bought it mostly as a novelty item, but it does work. I am sure something small will come along for me to use this mini plane on.
