The media could not be loaded. I’m very happy with this glass covered cake dish. Although I intend to use it as a covered bread plate. It’s not easy to find a wood base with a glass top as most are acrylic even if you search for glass. Be careful and read the details in the descriptions. This one arrived well packaged but the glass was extremely dirty but I would have washed it before use anyway so a quick and careful handwashing with dish soap and a good rinse and dry and it’s nice and clean. Has a couple flaws but I don’t want to deal with returning and I can deal with them. The wood is beautiful and while there are no instructions for cleaning I several acacia wood bowls and use the following instructions. Hand wash in warm soapy water immediately after use. Rinse with warm running water. Then dry with a soft cloth or dish rack to air-dry. To enhance the natural beauty of the wood, condition periodically with mineral oil. Store your tableware in a cool, dry location when it’s not in use. Do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat. This can also be used as a charcuterie board if you flip it over and the pedestal base as a bowl. Well worth the money and I would purchase again!

I love this cake stand and I've already gotten compliments and I've only used it with friends once. I like that it doubles as a cheese board but my only complaint is that if the magnet ever loses its strength or we grab/carry this by the stand we risk it coming apart and breaking. That's something we have to be conscious of when we're traveling with it. Otherwise it's amazing and seemed to keep my cake from drying out too!

Was packaged well. No odors. Just some stuff from the packaging that was clinging to the glass. Water washed it right off. Dried it off with a towel and the stain did not come off onto the towel. This is super neat. I love that it makes my desserts and snacks look more appetizing. I had no idea the stand/cup at the bottom was magnetic. I was twisting to get it off lol. Then I forgot and was decorating a cake/cleaning up the icing on it and the magnet nearly gave out and dropped the cake! So be careful with too much pressure to only one side of it. I don’t see this being a problem for me now that I know. Also like one of the other reviewers sadly my lid dose not make a good seal. You can actually see it in the pic I uploaded if you’re looking for it. The lid is not going to slide off but it dose not sit flat all the way around. If I press down from the top on one side of the glass the other side lifts up slightly. I put the lid on a flat surface and it dose not do this so it must be the stand. Overall it’s pretty and I would buy again just don’t like the not so fresh seal.

I recently bought this wooden cake stand, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen items. The acacia wood looks so classy, and the glass dome keeps everything fresh. I used it for a birthday cake and got so many compliments! The magnetic base is surprisingly strong and feels very secure. It’s perfect for desserts or even a small charcuterie spread. Definitely worth it!

Absolutely love this stand. I have only used it for cakes so far, and it worked great. I have no complaints about it. I love that the dome is made from glass, which makes it feel more luxurious compared to plastic. The fit was fine (I measured before I bought) and the material feels really sturdy. It can be quite heavy because of the glass.
