received quick cause i paid extra for it to reach me internationally within 1 week. the sticks feel & look good. they seem strong. i have played them not too hard or soft but just right for acoustic drum feel in pract & live. about 9x 45min sets. they seem they will last long enough.

I chose these sticks to use on my electric kit. I like the stained woodgrain finish. They are very smooth but not slick. They have not yet slipped out of my hands. I have the Alesis Turbo Mesh head kit so the snare and toms have 1/4-inch hard plastic rims which I have struck a hundred times; (sometimes even on purpose!) and I have to look really hard to find even a small ding in the wood. People who have written poor reviews about the durability of these sticks are probably using them beyond their capability. If you want to play heavy metal, get yourself some oak 2Bs. ... show more

It's unfortunate, but I have to give a bad review. I was super excited about this stick. Inexpensive, nice dark wood. Even has "Punk" stamped on the stick. I have nearly 50 years of drumming experience, from punk rock, to concert band, Scottish pipes and drums, and now as an instructor. BUT - after only about 2 hours of playing over a few days one of the sticks snapped in half!!! I've never even broken a stick at this spot, not like this. Upon investigation, it appear the stick is made out of some pressboard, or something. Not solid wood. Don't waste your money, even though they were inexpensive. ... show more
