I never used one of these before but it was easy to use. The only downfall is the tips bend if you apply to much pressure. I would say if you used the same amount of pressure that you would with a #2 pencil this tip bends due to heat. Beyond that it works well.

I am using my wood burner for the first time today. I am a crafter and using it to cut and fuse deco mesh. I am extremely disappointed with this. During use, the tip began bending. Im assuming its due to the extreme heat. Once the tip began bending, the whole piece snapped right out causing a burn on my finger. The threads to screw on another tip are completely warped. This thing gets so hot that the tip glows orange/red, so use caution. With that in mind, there is no stand that comes with this, so use discretion when placing this down in an area that won't burn or melt. The extra tips are the only plus that I can find with this product. It's ruined after the first use and I no longer have the packaging to return it. It works good, but if you out any pressure on it at all, the tips will snap off at the threads and it becomes unusable. I love making coasters with company logos on them. I've gone through two of them in 2 1/2 months.

Bought this for felt hat burning instead of wood burning and it works great! Heats very high and quickly. Comes with several tips depending on the design you're doing. Highly recommend.
