These little wooden boards are fun to use for small paint projects. You can add them on top of a gift as the gift card... a hand-painted card. :) Or you could send them in the mail as a greeting. Or use them to practice for painting a larger picture.

>.. I do dot art, look it up on the net, and videos. >.. I use these to make Refrigerator Art, nothing big and a magnet on the back to keep it in place. I like these because they are fairly thin, and made from a single slice of wood. I don't recognize the species claimed, but they are as white as Baltic Birch, but stronger and stiffer. >.. These accept paint well, there is some open grain issues, but most any grain filler works to help smooth out the wood if desired. These are SMOOTH, not glass like, but no need to get out the sandpaper for the most part. Paint adheres quite smoothly, and the wood accepts water based and oil based paints. I have not tried to dye or stain these. There is very little grain to be seen, but there is some evident, just not obvious. >.. The edges are brown, and appear to have been heated, but it does not affect the flat surfaces, and the edges are also paintable. >.. Once completed and sealed (Polycrylic) these are stable even in the full sun (sunlight through the window, daily for several weeks). I have had toddlers, School Age, teens and adults pick these up examine them, put some back and purchase others, they do hold up. I like these.

These were good but had some issues with a diode laser. I had to run it several times to get the image to burn. I have not tried them yet on my CO2 laser, but sure it will do well.

All of these blanks were sturdy and none of them were warped. The edges are nicely finished and I used them to make magnets out of my artwork. I will definitely be ordering them again.

I used these to engrave cards for groomsmen gift box sets and then magnets for a Galentine's Day event. Sturdy but lightweight little wood cards and a good size. I will most likely be ordering more in the future for crafts. Easily painted/stained to make whatever!

These are pretty decent for the money, but many of them came pretty warped, so getting them to sit flat on the laser cutter, and keep focus for the entire job was not easy.
