This was one of those purchases where you see something on pinterest and want to create at home. We have recently purchased an amish built 12x10 foot shed for storing our riding lawnmower and tractor. At first my husband wanted to use index cards or masking tape and slide into plastic pouches to label all the tools sections and what was located in the rafters of the shed. That idea would have look so bad or mechanic garage feel and take away from all the craftsmanship and decorations that I had already completed. So I purchased these wooden squares that come in different sizes. We used the drill press and cut small holes at the top so these squares could hang on a nail. The wood surface allows you to decorate these with color sharpie brand markers, or ink rubbing stamping or even the wood burning tips on a soldering iron. I bought these to make a scrabble wall but my first project was to decorate an office space. And it turned out perfect! I used 2 coats of wood stain and 1 coat of mod podge to glue my letters. It never warped! Many of the reviews scared me because they complained of warping but I didn't experience that! These are great! ... show more

These were a little more spendy than other options but I liked the look.. they were not as nice as the photos look but I made it work after adding a very light stain. About 20 is the 50 weren’t in good enough shape for the project.. but I only needed 25.
