This is my fourth purchase of these wood pieces. I use them for laser cutting and engraving projects. They are a good value, and the quality has been consistent. I like the uniform small size, making them easy to store. I've also created a jig with my laser cutter to cut and engrave things in this size of wood very fast and conveniently. For most of my projects, this size of wood works very well, as I focus on pins, jewelry, and other small items. For the rare occasion that I need larger wood, I buy individual sheets on an as needed basis. TIP: The panels are ALWAYS flat when I remove them from the cellophane wrapping. However, if I let them sit out in the open air for a day or two, they will sometimes warp. Keep them wrapped until you use them, and fold the cello wrap back around the remaining stack. Store them in an air-tight container. The little warping hasn't generally been a problem. But if you care, keep it wrapped up until you use it.

Each panel measures consistently within the stated dimensions, and there were no cracked corners or visibly damaged pieces. The wood surfaces are smooth to the touch with a clean, unfinished appearance—no paint, coatings, or odors that could interfere with laser engraving. Material Quality & Consistency: The wood density appears uniform across the batch, which is important for laser work. Grain patterns are subtle and even, with no major knots or voids that could disrupt engraving depth. Thickness variation is minimal, allowing me to run repeat jobs without adjusting focus or power between pieces. Out of the box, the boards lay flat on the laser bed without rocking or shimming. Laser Engraving Performance: Using the Sculpfun iCube Ultra, these blanks engrave cleanly and predictably.
