Each rail features a genuine oak face bonded to an engineered wood core, giving you the warm, pronounced grain pattern of traditional hardwood with the dimensional stability that solid wood alone can't always guarantee. The rich cabin brown stain is designed to complement vintage, heirloom, antique, and traditional bedroom sets where warmth and authenticity matter. Installation is straightforward. The pre-installed steel hook-on brackets seat directly into the standard hook plates on your existing headboard and footboard — no drilling, no hardware to source. The 1" hook protrusion is sized to the industry standard, but please verify that your headboard and footboard use hook-plate style receivers before ordering, as these rails are not compatible with bolt-on or platform bed frames. Sizing is simple: measure the interior distance between your headboard and footboard, not including the hooks.
