My dog is about 40lbs and long, but likes to curl into a ball in the car when we’re traveling. I was worried that this would be to small, but it’s the perfect fit for him! He loves in and goes right to is and lays down rather than roaming around the back seat like he usually does. Highly recommend!

When I first extracted this item from the ridiculously tight vacuum packed capsule, I did not at all think it was going to be big enough for my 34lb dog, but it is just rig sized. He might not be able to do his George Costanza pose, but frankly, that is a little much for the general public, so that’s all for the best. (Pro tip, put a wooden spoon or butter knife into the package to cut against. I don’t know how else anyone would remove this from the packaging without cutting the dog bed’s fluffy fabric! It was vacuum packed to be smaller than a loaf of bread and there was no play in the outer wrap to cut into. To say it simply, I deserve a medal for extracting the item without cutting it) As you can see, Sgt Henry Spencer is pleased as punch to have this little seat and integrated seatbelt for when he comes to work with me. It is exactly as deep as the front seat of my F150 and looks simple to get the cover off and wash it. So far pretty happy. ... show more

I originally was drawn to a car seat bed by an ad, but those car beds were ridiculously expensive so I started my search for something cheaper. My dog feels very insecure in the car and has a tendency to get car sick so was looking for something that would make her feel more secure. I haven’t tried it in the car yet, just got it yesterday, but it seems very good quality. I thought I’d use it in the house when not in use in the car. I let it puff up over night (comes shrink wrapped) and set it on the floor this morning for my dog to get used to. She crawled in and has barely moved out of it! She loves it, so hopefully it will help her when used in the car. I also thought it might be too small for her but she likes to curl up and the bolsters support her so it’s actually the perfect size. Got a pair, one for each of our pups. They are good quality and very soft. The only drawback is you can’t take the outer liner to wash it. The pups are happy in their new car seats!
