The color is rich and smooth - no pattern of any kind (which was important to me). Needed to be ironed out of the package, but most curtains do. The room-darkening is 100%! I tried to take a picture with the curtains & door closed but it was too dark for a picture, so the light in the darker picture is coming from the hallway. I did close the blinds for the photo, and the window itself is shaded by a tree, but still, the darkening was impressive. Wish they had more colors! ... show more

I got 4 pair of these for the windows in our condo. They are nice curtains. They look more formal than I expected, due to the very smooth surface. They are not really blackout curtains. We have cellular shades next to the windows & light still filters through. I really didn’t really care, except in the bedroom, where I mounted another darker par underneath these. The wrinkles from packaging are hard to get out. I used a professional steamer & still had trouble. A steam iron & ironing board might work better. Check the curtains when they come. One panel had a dark gray line horizontal across it. At first I thought it might steam out. I don’t think it is soil. Rather, it might be a crease in the inner layer of fabric. But, Amazon is going to replace it. In the end, they look great..the exact match to the walls, and make the tiny condo seem bigger. ... show more

These hang in a bedroom that has a bright streetlight coming into the room. The light gray curtains are so soft and do a wonderful job of darkening the room. i highly recommend.

I have officially this month had these for a year. We live in an apartment in Mississippi with an open field behind our second floor bedroom, no trees, and with almost completely South facing windows (hence why I have all my plants in there, haha!). Also have 5 animals and there are some pulls from cats in the fabric and some fading of color from the intense sunlight (picture 3). Regardless-from the front- these curtains still look great! They do seem to help with temperature which thank God in the summer months 🙏 I am very happy with the purchase and ready to send these to the guest room and replace ours with a black set!
