The media could not be loaded. This is a nice little dvd player. I gave it 5 stars because I really have grown to love it! On that note I'd like to say that is has a 10.1 inch screen as seen here on the box, not a 10.5 as stated in the description here on amazon. Also I'm not convinced the battery has the 4 hour life span that is claimed by the description on the sellers listing here. The owners manual says 2 hours which was a little disheartening because we bought this specifically to be used without having to be plugged in. I can say we watched a movie and part of another one before it started warning about low battery. In my estimation the battery lasted just shy of three hours from fully charged. Even though I had hoped for the full four hours the seller claims in the description I still am likely to keep this dvd player for all of the good attributes it has like 1. Nice loud crystal clear speakers! How nice is that?! I mean seriously I feel that it's a must to be able to take out the head phones and sit back and watch a movie with a spouse or child on a camping trip and everyone be able to hear. (I'm also a little hard of hearing so this is huge for me!) The speakers are VERY good quality and not all twangy and crappy sounding like some of the other portable dvd players. Also this dvd player has played ALL our discs without fail! Even ones that show some scratching. I find this to be very impressive! My first impression of the dvd player when taking it out of the box is that it's a little thick compared to the devices I'm used to handling these days. The plastic does feel kind of cheap and I'd be scared to let a little kid go running off with this because one drop and it's likely to shatter. So if it were me and I was purchasing for a small child I would definitely go for one designed specifically for LITTLE kids that have bumper guards etc because I don't believe this one could take the abuse. I purchased a nice case for this and find that I'm much more content knowing it's safely tucked into something padded for protection. I'd also like to note that I'm very impressed with the responsiveness of all the buttons on this dvd player, and the plug ins are very nice and tight and secure and don't feel like they are made to be a breaking point, I have 300$ devices I can't say that about! I believe that if this dvd player is well cared for it should last many good years of service to our entertainment needs. It comes with everything you need to plug into AC/DC and even includes headphones. It doesn't state so on the description but it can play MP4's! Yay! The only thing I can say I don't like about this dvd player is the remote! I'd like to call it a joke because it's really ridiculous with like 30 unnecessary buttons which makes the ones you do need to see and use so tiny they're hard to see and read in movie watching light, but other than this one dislike I totally love this little dvd player! It's attractive, functional & affordable! What more could one want? I'd have to conclude over all I'm pleased with my purchace. ... show more

It is overall intriguing to use these with a large 10.5" screen & inbuilt USB & SD card port. It functions well for what it should be & an overall recommended product for the price. My 2 cents are below after using it for the last 15 days: Pros: - Display: 10.5" inches screen is bright enough & display is crisp. It will not disappoint you while using it. It can play HD video smoothly. Also, these are swivel screens and can rotate at 270 degrees - Sound: It is a decent bottom-firing dual speaker - It has multiple DVD formats compatibilities - It has an SD card slot onboarded for your needs along with a USB-A port - It has an inbuilt rechargeable battery that can provide up to 5 hours of playback - Looks and Design: Sleek design and looks elegant overall. It is thin for a DVD player and lightweight for long usage - Can be powered via home power outlets or car cigarette port. They do bundle all adapters in the box - The player itself has all the controls on it but the remote is bundled too that has all the feature controls - Price: Very reasonably priced considering the features it offers - Warranty: Comes with 1 year of manufacturer US warranty Cons: - No WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity in these - Speaker could have been better with more bass in it - I wish they had other color options to choose from like white or other colors that kids can select ... show more

I didn't need the swivel feature as I only plan to use it at home - mostly using house (AC) power. I found 2 minor problems with the device: 1 - It is difficult, if even possible, to force the display to Full-Screen (4:3) aspect ratio. Using 2 totally different DVDs (1939 movie and 1972 TV episode), I got the exact same display using any of the 3 display settings (Pan-Scan, Letter-Box, Widescreen). Both were definitely full-screen. One disk was new and the other did correctly change to 4:3 using my TV. 2 - Although it is mentioned that a USB device is limited to 32 GB, no where is it noted that the USB MUST be USB 1! Since USB 2 and USB 3 are far more common now, it may be difficult for many users to find USB 1 (white internal bar). I tried a USB 2 and got a message "device not support". I placed the same size device (32 GB) that was USB 1 and it worked fine. This limit should be in the description rather than just 32 GB limit. Most (including me) would not make the connection of that limit of size also limits the USB level. The remote is very limited in angle and length (less than 10 feet) but does work. The placement of my device relative to my position means I have to use my right hand and I'm a lefty! Overall, the device works fine. The dual speakers can be "brassy" depending on what is played but in most cases is just fine. The display is sharp and clear. The connection to another device (including a TV) is a bit limited for a device this new. It should have an HDMI connection to connect to another TV to allow for finer resolution on a large screen.
