I am an overpacker and need to learn pack less when traveling. I recently took a trip to Washington, and this backpack was perfect. I traveled via United Airlines and had zero issues. I didn't use cubes and was able to pack, two chargers, speaker, 3 pairs of jeans, 3 short sleeved tops, one pair of sandals, quart size bag of liquids, souvenirs, water bottle, two hats, 4 sets of undergarments, jewlery, medication, plus my hair care tools, and bathroom necessities. If I had used cubes I would have been able to pack more. I still had room to pack more but I had more than I needed. The backpack did get sightly bulkier but was still able to fit right under my seat. I also wasn't on flights without extra legroom for reference. The bag was heavier but with the extra straps it was comfortable to where for several hours. For minimalistic packing and saving money while traveling then I would highly recommend this product!     • Tons of pockets and little compartments! Durable and reliable.

TL;DR: Lots of pockets, durable, cute colors. Overall a good buy! It also survived a round in my washing machine so, bonus points for that. I took some time to use this bag for a couple of months before writing any kind of review and it has passed what I considered enough trials and tribulations. There are a plethora of pockets to help organize your belongings and to facilitate access; there's even a "waterproof" one that helps provide peace of mind in the event you're worried something will leak. There's a "secret" pocket on the backside for important things you don't want people accessing easily. The only pockets I really have qualms with is the "shoe" compartment at the bottom, since it doesn't really provide extra space. It uses the same internal space as everything in the bag since the pocket juts inward rather than outward. And the second one is the water bottle pocket, because it doesn't expand very much and it's a bit shallow but it fits 16 oz water bottles nicely. A little more wary about 24 oz bottles. There exists an attachment on the bag where you can attach a cable to the inside of your bag and run it to the outside to help you charge your device on the go. They've included a USB-A to USB-A cable, but as I said, it can be unhooked and replaced with whichever type of cable you need. This bag also has buckles to help keep all your stuff compact and from jostling around. This is a great, durable bag that has weathered carrying ALL of my belongings (clothes, toiletries, souvenirs, etc) for a 6 day trip to Hawaii and also survived being lugged around and stuffed after a week long excursion to Italy for the same purpose, in addition to other smaller trips I've taken. ... show more

I really contemplated buying this and thought it was likely unnecessary or that it’d wouldn’t serve me any better than my incase work backpack. I was wrong. This thing has done so well and has so much space and functionality. The belt that allows you to secure it to your luggage handle is simple but a huge help. Multiple water resistant sections came in handy when needing a change between layovers or boat trips and for snacks. I was able to pack for a 2 week vacation that took me across the UK, Italy and Paris from rainy fall to the heat of the Mediterranean and a black tie wedding then back to the cool Fall again without really wanting for more space between this and a carry on. Granted the souvenirs I purchased remained in the slimmer options like cards, pins, packable clothing but still came home with plenty. My only concern is the seams. While it held up through my trip, you can see the seems really stretching when it’s fully loaded. Not sure how long this will last but I feel like if I treat it well and don’t constantly lack it to its brim, I can use it for the long haul. ... show more

I was skeptical about buying it due to several reviews stating that it is not a durable backpack but I am glad I gave it a shot a week before my trip, since I couldn’t find anything I liked in stores. I bought the size L, it fits perfectly under the airplane seat. I flew 5 different airlines, including American Airlines and British Airways. It was the perfect size to travel on train too. The capacity is quite a lot for a travel backpack, I also love that it has several pockets and hidden pouches for different things. The shoe compartment of course, I wouldn’t use it if you plan to put anything else inside the main pouch but that’s logical. The bag doesn’t magically expand. I used that compartment for dirty laundry, which worked out perfectly! The straps are adjustable and pretty comfortable. It was easy to carry my backpack, I put about 30lb of weight in it. Including a laptop and tablet. I recommend this bag 100% especially if you travel often. ... show more

After a lot of searching of Amazon reviews for travel backpacks in this price and size range, I chose this one. It came last night and I am still exploring all the features, but it looks like they thought of everything one might want when traveling with this backpack. One large and one small full-length compartment ( the larger one with zip and slip pockets, and a separate compartment accessible from the bottom to store shoes, dirty clothes etc so they are separate from the rest of the things in that compartment) two zip pockets on front and anti-theft packet on back; feature for attaching and storing a power bank and a cord for plugging in your phone; adjustable padded straps) The fabric looks sturdy (I chose the light gray color and it is true to what was pictured) and there are no problems with poorly sewn seams, etc. It is very roomy for its size (I am only 5 feet tall so did not want anything too big). The main compartment zips fully on three sides so it lays out flat like a suitcase when you are packing and unpacking (this was a "must-have" feature for me) I plan to take it on a flight for a weekend trip in a few weeks and I don't think I am going to need any other baggage, It came a little crushed and wrinkled in the package but seems to be settling out.
