Description

The Camping hammock is made of compact, breathable parachute silk. The material dries quickly and is washable. The square stuff sack is sewn on the side of the lying surface. So it cannot be lost and the hammock is packed into it in a breath. The mounting of the camper double hammock is easy and fast. The ultra light metal hooks at the ends of the lying surface are suspended in the loop of a rope attached to a tree. The Camper Travel Hammock is right for uncomplicated camping, traveling and on the way. In the 260 x 140 cm large lying surface it is super comfortable lying diagonally alone. A single person can definitely sleep wonderfully. A couple can rest after a hike or relax occasionally in the Camper outdoor hammock.

Have used this on many remote island camping trips where the site is only acssessible by water, making storage space slim. This is a must have! Bought a second one this year for my 15 year old son as he is old enuff to enjoy a mid-day nap while camping too! My old one has held up to young kids using it as a swing, human sling shot, and carnival spin ride. Still looks new. Storage bag attached to hammock. We have been doing a lot of camping and have more trips on the books but no hammock in sight. I picked this up before a weekend camping trip. I chose this hammock because it was well priced and would arrive in time. I wasn't sure if we would be into hammocking so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. We set it up in less than 60 seconds when we arrived and I felt that it seemed a bit strange, it wasn't as deep as I was expecting. We ended up moving it to some trees that were a little bit further apart and that worked much better and was more like a cocoon. My 7 year old spent SO much time in this during out camping weekend. She mostly prefers swinging in it and not just simply relaxing, but it took a good beating and remained in tact so we were all happy. I bought this product for overnight hikes and camping, and I am quite satisfied. It is very comfy and you can even wrap the excess material on the sides around you like a cocoon. Overall I would definitely suggest this to others who are interested in their first hammock. Pros::: -SUPER portable, comes folded in a bag about the size of a textbook, weighing less than a pound. -Easy to set up: at first, I had to look up "how to set up hammock" on YouTube, which totally just confused me. Instead, I threaded the longer Paracord through the hammock in a sort of Slipknot, and tied a carabiner on one side so I can just loop it around and clip it. -Camo makes me feel safer: Since I live where there are a LOT of other campers and a lot of camping crime.. I feel a little safer hoping no one can see me. -Tough: while the material is thin, it is very durable and has lasted through many unfortunate events, one of which being a tree toppling onto it. I don't think I will need to replace or stitch it up for a long time. CONS:: -Thin: while the material makes it lighter and more portable, WIND WILL GET THROUGH LIKE NOTHING. You NEED a sleeping bag to stay in this overnight. Or at least a big blanket. -Oddly tensioned: It may be the way I tied it up, but I was expecting the sides of the hammock to be the highest points of tension, like most hammocks. This is what makes them comfy. Instead, I found that the center of the hammock was the tightest and when you lay on it, turning to your side could put you on the ground because the sides don't have much tension at all. Overall I am very satisfied with it and it does it's job well. For the price, this is an absolute steal. I bring it on every hike because its just so much more convenient than a tent and much more stealthy. I do wish I could figure out how to get it to tension like a normal hammock so that it is more comfy, but as I said, it does it's job. ... show more
