Even after watching a subpar video of the installation and after installing many screen protectors over the years this "skin" is by far the worse I've come across. The process seemed straight-forward but, as I worked it all out the curved edges never stayed down and caused bubbles. This type of screen protector is now on my "not to buy" list.     • Ok, it's not THAT hard to install
Just watch the video beforehand. It's relatively easy to install. Got a new pixel 7 pro and made sure to order up a screen protector right away. But I got a tempered glass protector and it was infuriating! It hardly read my fingerprint and the touch screen was way less responsive overall. I changed settings in my phone, made a new fingerprint, etc. I lasted about a week before I got annoyed enough to order a different one. So maybe I'm just easily impressed after that experience lol, but this screen protector is a DREAM. It's like having nothing on my screen at all. Nice glide, fingerprints aren't too bad and, most of all, my screen and fingerprint sensor work AS THEY SHOULD! I had a couple very tiny air bubbles that I couldn't get out when I installed, but they went away on their own. I've also accidentally dug my nail into the film while swiping, and it really is self healing. This is definitely the screen protector to get! ... show more

This screen protector works as advertised but you need to have the patience to work through the installation instructions. It's not the most straightforward to install but their instructions are good if you take the time to read them. The SP itself works exactly as advertised when installed appropriately and looks great maintaining all of the phones original functionality (fingerprint reader). I have never used a gel type screen protector. After watching the installation video provided via QR code and a little experience installing screen protectors, my phone looks like a professional installed it. I purchased 2 packs because I usually make mistakes installing screen protectors. I installed my phone and my wife's phone perfectly on the first try. Over 6 months later I feel this gel protector would protect my screen better than a hard protector. I just updated from a Pixel 6 pro. The screen protector had a gel dot that have a headache because it wouldn't scan my finger. This one scabs everytime. The only downside is the screen is prone to finger prints. I would recommend this screen protector. New review. It has been over 6 months since I installed this screen protector. The people that have pictures of bubbles in their screen protector didn't use the sticker applicator that picks up dust. My screen protector works flawlessly on 2 phones with zeros bubbles. It may show a bubble close to the edge once in a while but dust can't enter. I gently press and they are gone. That representation of bubbles are from people that do not install it right the first time! This screen protector is by far the best I have ever used. I did not receive any gift or free screen protector for this review! Complete honesty! Place your phone in a transparent box that cost a dollar with a tissue filter and a dollar fan out. Use gloves using tape around your arms to keep dust from coming in. That extra 2 dollars will give you a perfect dust free screen protector.     • Took two tries to figure out how to install
Instructions are trash. If this is your first time installing these kind of screen protectors (as it was for me) it may take you two tries to figure out how to install, so go ahead and order two of these (four protectors total) so you have plenty of trial and error. My first two ended up being trashed but it let me figure out the best approach for installing. I'm ordering some more and I'll end up using these on my phone since I like these better than the glass ones for these phones. Taking stars off for the weird install instructions. I'll try to install these dry on my next go, but I could see benefit from installing these wet, so we'll see what ends up being easiest. Updated 2022-10-31: THIS is why I keep going back to amFilm and have amFilm protectors on all my electronics. After leaving this review, they reached out to figure out my problems and linked me a video to help with the install (https://www.amazon.com/vdp/086a5acc1605435f81699c8e9168781d?product=B0BG486JMR&ref=cm_sw_em_r_ib_dt_17boWsTCVtIE5), even offering to send me a replacement part. Applied relatively easily after following directions and seemed to work well. After about 4 weeks started peeling back at top left corner and would no longer stay on.

    • It used to be great to install now hit or miss
When I got these when the Pixel 7 just released, there were three screen protectors included and install was straightforward. The last two boxes I got when I attempt to peel off tab 3 for the final install the entire protector comes off and doesn't adhere to the screen. At least when three protectors were in the box I could still have two left over. ... show more
