I bought this as a gift for someone who had it previously but lost it sometime last year. She absolutely loved it, although she did before as well. I also love the music, and the CD was in good condition. The only thing is that the CD case I noticed was broken, and I'm not sure if it came like that or if it happened afterwards. It's hard to tell because I saw the crack only about a half hour after receiving the CD, so there wasn't much time for me to smash it up. Either way the CD quality was good, no scratches or skips in the songs, I loved the music and my friend appreciated the gift a lot. Loved it! ... show more

Fantastic freshman album. Beyond being a typical sound from the 80s, many of the songs still hold up well. Who need love like that, and Oh L'Amour are strong standards,while love is a loser is campy and bright. March on down the line easily qualifies as a torch song for young gay men, and my heart so blue exemplifies Andy Bell's (sometimes) restrained vocals. Fun and meaningful, wonderland is a must For any electronic /80s pop collector, and a fantastic start if your new to the genre. ... show more

    • Static on track 11! Defective!
The 1987 American release has a defect on track 11 (Who Needs Love Like That remix). The beginning of the song, for about a whole minute, has loud static in the left channel, as well as level problems between the left and right channels. I recommend finding a different version of this album. I've tried several copies and they have all had this error. The release number is 7599-25354-2 ... show more
