I have a thirty one bag that is similar to this and I love it. I wanted to give some as gift and order an extra one for myself because I'm always going places or packing up my daughter's things to visit her dad. I bought 3 different totes for gifts. I got this one and one other one - which was NOT sturdy at all and was a huge disappointment. THIS bag however, is made really well and I love it! I ended up going back online and ordering another one while it was still on sale. The sides are padded - not just one layer of material like the other bag I got. I opens up nicely and has reinforced sides AND a bottom insert which is awesome. The straps go all the way around...this thing will last a long time and should be able to hold some weight. My 31 bag easily holds my crockpot...I have no doubt this one will serve just as well. I paid about $23 during Black Friday...not sure what it is normal - but even it was a bit more...I would still buy it. I'm happy with this..and am going to be happy giving these as gifts! I ordered this tote because we were taking a beach trip and had to bring our own linens. This tote is perfect! I was able to put our sheets and towels in it with ease. I did shove a blanket in there too and it fit perfectly. I love that it has two handles for ease in carrying it and when we unpacked, the tote folded up so great for storing it away. We got caught in a hail and rainstorm at 8,000 ft elevation and I didn't have time to throw it in the trunk. It rained all night and I ended up just leaving it outside the whole time, I was sure it was going to be a one trick pony. To my astonishment it came out smelling like roses it stood up through a storm and a week in the outdoors. I put all my heavy canned goods in there and some heavier other stuff and by golly she's still going strong. Next time I will leave her in the trunk, I love her, the only change I would make as the manufacturer is add a top with a zipper and charge a little more for it. ... show more
