The assorted stripes are a perfect mix of wardrobe matching colors and the look is nice. These socks came packaged in a vacuum sealed plastic bag, so they were very flat, but fluffed to a bit thicker and softer texture after washing in cold water. See the thickness difference in the picture with the unwashed brown stripes and the washed black stripes side by side. I will not put them in the dryer because I do not want any shrinkage. The foot part is comfortable on my womens USA 7 foot, not too tight but just a bit loose. The ankle and cuff are a bit tighter and I think anyone size 9 or more might struggle to get these over the heel. My ankle where it meets the foot is 7.25 inch circumference and is 7.75 inch at the cuff line of the sock. There is too much elastic in the ankle and cuff for me, but that is my complaint with 99% of the socks I try unless they are roll top or an old style true rib knitted crew, and it seems only European companies still knit socks that stay up because of the rib knit pattern and not woven in elastic or a sewn in elastic string at the top of the cuff. When I first put these on, they do not feel too tight, but then they seem to exert too much elastic pressure over time. The lines in my ankles in the picture are after a few hours of wearing the socks over leggings. I do not have diabetes or edema, but I do get pressure uticaria, so I may be more likely to get these lines from these socks than other people would, but it did surprise me to see how the socks made lines on my ankles THROUGH leggings. If they could make these about an inch wider in the ankle or with half as much elastic, I would buy all the design options, because they are just a nice weight, thickness, and warmth in boots or shoes. I have only worn and washed a few pair one time each so far and I am seeing a few stray threads popping out, which I expected due to the knit utilizing many threads. I will just snip any that pop out and hope they maintain integrity in future washings. I will also wash them in a lingerie bag next time so they don't snag on anything in the wash. Not the perfect sock for me, but nice for the price.

Comfy, cute and good price, however, my ankle bone is right at the peach triangle design so they’re just an ove the ankle. Otherwise, warm enough and fit good. The advertisement pic makes them look mid-calf hight. Nope.
