Soft and cozy

I love wearing oversized sweaters in the winter, and this one is perfect. It is soft, fairly thick and slightly fuzzy, and has the oversized fit I was hoping for. I can wear it with jeans, and it is long enough on me that it will look great with leggings and boots, but keep in mind I am only 5'1". I am by no means a model, but the sweater fits me similarly to the way it fits the seller's model. I definitely recommend checking the size chart to make sure you order the size with a bust measurement that is at least 4 or 5 inches larger than your own bustline if you want an oversized fit. Choose a measurement closer to your bustline if you want a closer fit. This sweater has contrasting trim around the neckline, cuffs and the bottom which gives it a layered look, like you're wearing another sweater underneath. It's a super cute look that gives a layered look without extra bulk. The neckline, cuffs and bottom also have a small side slit that are mostly for looks but does have some function at the bottom/sides to help the sweater hang a little bit more loosely. I chose the gray color and it is a nice medium heather gray, neither too light nor too dark. The contrasting trim has a slight vanilla color, it's almost a true white but not quite. The fabric contains 6% wool, so I guess technically it qualifies as "wool blend," but happily the sweater is machine washable. I would never machine-wash wool, but since this sweater is also 69% polyester, 13% acrylic and 12% nylon, this makes it machine washable. I will definitely wash it in cold water on the delicate cycle and air-dry it flat, as I do all machine-washable sweaters. Since it is mostly polyester, it should be fine. Overall, even though it is 100 degrees outside today, I know this is going to be one of the workhorse sweaters that I wear all the time this fall and winter. It is oversized and super cute with a classic look overall that has the contrast trim for a little something extra.
