I am 5’7 and about 122lbs. I got the size 4 not wanting the shorts to be too small and they are definitely oversized in the waist but cute and baggy in the thigh like I wanted. I am buying another pair in a size 2! The size chart is accurate, don’t do what I did and overestimate sizing. They will be baggy regardless but make sure the waist isn’t too loose. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from a pair of Amazon jean shorts. I don’t really order clothes from Amazon, but as I haven’t had any luck finding this length of jean shorts in stores, I decided to give it a try. They definitely exceeded my initial low expectations! Very soft and comfy, perfect length for me, and have a nice stretch. I struggle immensely with finding Jean shorts I actually find comfortable. I tried Levi’s that looked the same and the fit was awful material was uncomfortable and they were double the price than these. I took a chance on these bc the reviews said they had no stretch, etc. which is very wrong. These are very form fitting, with somewhat of a stretch, I would not say they are stiff by any means. They are comfortable and light- perfect for the summer heat. As someone who has thick thighs and a butt, I love the cut and feel comfortably covered, but don’t feel like I’m wearing total mom shorts. They’re more conservative in the front and a little bit sexier in the back. They pass the sit test. Throughout the day they loosen up a bit so keep that in mind for sizing. I’m usually a medium/ large in shorts - or 8/10- I went with a 10 in these and they fit perfect. Will be ordering more colors bc you can’t beat it for the price! ... show more

I love these, they are an appropriate length that they aren't too long but they stop the thighs from rubbing. They are very stretchy and if you are thicker they form to your thighs. I really like these.

The idea is great, but these shorts stretch out so quickly leaving that dreaded waist gap. They are comfortable and stretchy, but they don't seem to last long. They're okay, and I have kept them, but definitely not a favorite purchase.

High waisted and fits exactly like pictured. True to size in length & waist. A lil bit of stretch but not much. I have other jean shorts that have a lot more stretch. These fit tight in the waist & top portion but looser in the leg hem for comfort. Happy with these. I wanted to be fashionable for casual days at work events ( moving furniture/picnics/ sports events) but long enough to be appropriate in covering the leg.
