Ordered a half size up to plan for an extra pair of socks during winter wear. Put my own copper fit massage insoles in. So far, these are very comfortable and not too tight in the toes. I’ve been wearing them everyday to make sure I love/trust them enough to do a crazy 20 mile/8hour hike come February. We’ll see how they do… ... show more

I normally wear an 8.5, so I sized up as I normally would for a hiking shoe. Unfortunately, my big toe hit the front, so they’re going back. The collar also rubbed and felt constricting. That probably could have been remedied with a breaking-in, but the toe issue nixed that. I’m sticking with the Merrell Siren Edge 3. I got the low, so ankle discomfort isn’t an issue. If you find the Merrell Moab 3 (or 2) to be clunky and uncomfortable, you might like the Siren Edge 3. They’re lightweight and comfortable, and don’t make you feel like you’re walking on rocks, even when you’re not. Very grippy (Vibram). Super roomy toe box, too. Not much arch support, so I’ll add that. ... show more

Just had the boots delivered...took them out of the box and there was a stain on them! How does this pass quality control...ok maybe its not a big one but I would have expected them to be free of defects

Very pleased with these. The fit is great for my wide toes. They’re comfortable all day. I especially love that they are waterproof, which keeps more than just water out of my shoe.
