I own 3 of these. They are the best hats for keeping the sun off my face. The pony tail cutout is just right. It has some soft stiffness to the brim - doesn’t flop down. However, it comes folded. You can fold this all you want and it will be fine. But the factory folds are more severe. I used a steam iron to flatten the brim to my liking and now it travels fine in my bag. I’ve washed it, too and it holds up. Looks, fits and wears just like the photos.

The Women’s Outdoor UV-Protection Foldable Sun Hat was a lifesaver for my wife during the hot Missouri summer! She loved how it helped keep her hair off her neck and provided excellent sun protection. The ponytail hole is a great feature, and the wide brim did a great job keeping the sun out of her face. However, the only downside was that it easily got stained due to sweat, and keeping it looking fresh was a bit tricky. ✅ Excellent Sun Protection ✅ Ponytail Hole is a Nice Feature ✅ Lightweight and Comfortable ❌ Stains Easily from Sweat Overall, it was worth every penny for the protection and comfort it provided!

This hat was just what I was looking for. I’ve been trying to transition to better coverage of sensitive areas vs trying to apply/reapply sun screen. The brim is wide enough to protect my ears and back of neck from the sun. I always use to use baseball caps but that left those areas vulnerable. The pony hole is the reason I bought the hat, I know a lot of brands have them but it’s my first to have it. The hole is a little lower than where I normally wear my hair but it’s still comfortable enough. The neck/chin strap is also helpful, I wore it on a BREEZY spring day and without the strap it definitely would have blown off multiple times. For the price it’s a great hat. The fit is ideal. I think it looks nice. My husband laughed the first time I wore it but I don’t think twice about being in public with it.

I like the hat. I needed a nice looking brimmed hat that also shielded my ears from the sun. The colors are nice, it does protect my ears, it has an adjustable chin strap, and the hat adjusts for around your head and there is a place to pull your pony tail through. I only have 1 issue with this hat. It is very uncomfortable to wear on windy days. So the chin strap is very dorky so I do not use it. But you can adjust it where your pony tail goes through and this is the problem. The strap that adjusts the hat is very thin--possibly about 1/2 inch. So when you tighten it around your head, it is painful as the strap needs to be wider to spread the surface area around your head. I hope that makes sense! So a tiny band is putting pressure on your skull--the band needs to be wider to lessen that pressure. So after a walk on a windy day, I end up with a very bad headache from the pressure and my forehead as a thin indention mark. So the concept is good--just the tightening band needs to be thicker.
