Excellent quality and value for the money if you are looking for a long, satin robe. It has pockets! The fabric is lightweight but that’s what makes it nice. The tie is nicely stitched and the overall appearance is beautiful. The robe is made for taller people so for those of us that are a bit shorter and prefer a longer robe that will grace the floor, you may want to move the tie loops higher which isn’t hard to do or the tie will forever sit lower. I sized mine up to the largest size even though a 2xl would have been perfect (I like everything loose. My robes must be even larger since I can layer during the winter but I do like the excess width to make it billow out as though it were a skirt). Remember that it is a kimono style and you can pleat it once you tie it if you need to. Washed it right after the initial try-on (delicate cycle and in a lingerie bag) then dried it on low to not damage the satin. It came out beautifully and even softer than when it arrived. I’m on a journey of self-care and only using all things satin at night as a treat to my skin and hair. I also bought the pink one and the plain white one. The plain solid color ones are even softer so don’t be afraid to buy them if you are looking to have multiples or layer them for additional modesty which is what I do. I layered the blue floral over the solid white and loved the thickness and modesty. Very stylish in an old Hollywood Regency way. My true size is Xl. I bought the 5XL for the flowing dressing gown look I wanted. I am not disappointed. If you have memories of elder women in your family always wearing long robes and moomoos, this is an upper class alternative. I was lucky enough to find the perfect nightgown to go with these robes that made me feel like a Hollywood starlet at home! Don’t miss out or guess! I found them worth it and are now on my gift list for friends that need a little pampering! Oh, and my husband loves the way I look in them! Can’t beat the price! ... show more

First, the robe is very pretty and soft. It weighs next to nothing. I can't speak to how it washes as I haven't yet-only tried it on. The measurements given in the sizing chart are accurate. HOWEVER, the sleeves appeared in the picture to look long to me-wrist length...but they are not, they are 3 quarter sleeves which I despise personally. I took a star off for that as I feel the photo is a bit misleading in that regard. Other than that though, it arrived quickly and was well packaged. REALLY BIG. I should have gotten the 2XL-3xl. I’m 5’4 and 248lbs hour glass body type. Beautiful robe. Alert*** BELT is NOT ATTACHED TO THE ROBE so the belt keeps sliding all around your waist. That’s the only hang up and why I gave it a 3 but it’s really a 5. Otherwise it’s amazing
