Love love this robe is great I got the XL but I could have gotten away with the L. The colors of the robe are beautiful and you can’t see by the photo but they are gorgeous! The only bad thing I could say is that the threading is a little off but overall I love it.

I'm writing this review as I ordered through my husband's account and this purchase is for me, a woman. I wanted something quick and easy to slip on over my sleepwear when I first take my dog outside for his morning routine. This kimono fits the bill. It's lightweight and covers enough to keep me decent. I wish it had a more substantial tie or closing system as it gapes open with every step but that's a small thing. The fit is very loose and baggy on me but I like that and I can quickly pull it on in seconds over pajamas, jeans, a sweatshirt or whatever. The material is pleasant against my skin, not itchy at all. I've washed this kimono in a mesh bag for delicates and hung it up to air dry and finally the folds and creases fell out! I bought the silver/grey and received several compliments. The colors are so feminine and pretty, it just makes you feel good! One of my favorite features are the pockets, I always need pockets and these are perfect. For what I want, this robe delivers but I'm not sure I would gift this to anyone. Light weight but well made. I washed in cold water on the delicate cycle, dried 10 minutes on low heat and came out beautiful. No ironing needed. I love the color! It is a one size, I am 5'5" 135 lbs. I would say if you are a Plus size girl (size 18 and beyond) I would not recommend this one sizer situation. I was so excited to finally come across a silk kimono robe. I purchased the light pink one. It shipped to me quickly. I’ve worn it a handful of times; it’s colorful and bold. it’s pretty large and flowy but it’s a little smaller than I expected it to be. It’s slim cut. I wish there was enough overlapping fabric below the waistline/chest area that allowed me to fully fit in the kimono with it tied close. I guess I didn’t realize until later that it comes in one size. If you’re a plus size bigger than a size 20-22, go a size up if available or keep searching. Unless that aspect isn’t important to you. It has pockets! Weirdly placed but pockets nonetheless. Seems to be made well overall but there are obvious thread strands protruding from some of the seams. This product is comfy and fashionable but I don’t think it’s meant to hold up long-term or through normal wear. I may have to keep searching for my dream silk kimono robe but this one does the trick for now. Update: it is December 6, 2022 and it’s been about a year of my owning this kimono. It’s still in decent shape, despite barely wearing it over the past year. (I went on a weight loss journey and wasn’t able to fit in it until two months ago) Although I am obsessed with the silky/satin material, the material does not hold up long-term. It’s also not made for anyone with curves. It fits better now but it will never close completely over my C cups or my size 20 waist. ... show more
