This really comes in handy! Especially when your baby hits that 4-Month sleep/nap regression phase. Sometimes they just need a little help blocking out light and distractions to fall asleep. It’s a true black-out curtain, but it’s not super thick or heavy which is a plus. It comes with a travel bag as well. The size is fairly large, my windows are big (36in wide 60in tall) and this curtain could still fit a larger window. The suction cups are great and there is velcro stripping along the edges so you can size it down by meeting the Velcro edges together to create any size curtain for basically any window you need. ... show more

    • Great idea, execution could be better
I was excited to try this blackout curtain since the drapes were have in our room don’t do enough. Our windows are small- so the cinching up of the curtain makes it very bulky and baggy on the window. Definitely better suited to larger windows. I had to wipe the window and suction cups with rubbing alcohol. The trick is to hold onto the little tab of the suction cup inside the curtain trim in order to to push down and engage the suction cups. With our current blackout curtains, this did do the job and made a difference. However it boasts being portable and for travel, but it is not very durable. I made the mistake of not disengaging one of the suction cups and it popped out the hole and I had to just jam it back in. Probably won’t last very long. ... show more

Complete blackout!! I love the idea of a portable blackout curtain and honestly, never had even considered it. Traveling with the kids is always difficult for many reasons, but specifically because hotel rooms always seem to have one small window that doesn't get completely dark. Out of the package, this curtain feels like quality material. The suction cups are strong and are secured onto the curtain well. The curtain itself is completely blackout when up against the window, similar to how a black contractor bag would be. The curtain held up against the window well for the duration of the time I had it up. When I took it down, it was easy to pull off and the suction mounts stayed secured on the curtain. 10/10 recommend this especially with young kids. ... show more

This blackout curtain works extremely well at blocking out light. I originally needed a blackout solution because my 2-year-old started waking up way too early as the seasons changed and the mornings got brighter earlier.
