Bought this for a trip with lots of walking and also a visit to a location that allows bags but not “backpacks”. The straps unhook and can be tucked behind another pocket/sleeve. I also like that it looks nicer than a “backpack” so I can take it to a nice restaurant and not feel like a backpacking college student. (Been there done that but I’m almost 50 now…) This is a good size for an all day adventure where I will be carrying my stuff around all day (along with kid’s). It’s prob the size of a regular school backpack in terms of volume. Although it has pockets, they are slim pockets without much depth. I like this bc I can stick my map or plane tickets or whatever in a pocket. I also really like that, aside from a laptop sleeve, they do not take away from the “main” compartment. I can just stuff everything in there without a pesky divider in the way. I prob won’t use the laptop sleeve this trip bc I don’t plan to haul a computer with me (this is a vacation, not work) but others may find it useful. I really like that there is a sleeve to hook over my suitcase rolly handle. I also really like the zipper pocket against my back so I can put my valuables (ID, etc) in there with less fear of pickpockets. When I travel I need all my items to work double time and solve more than one issue. All in all a good purchase. Update: took this on a different, earlier trip. It was perfect! Nice enough to use as a tote at formal event, then used as backpack while hiking. Several other hikers admired and asked where I got it. Also used as airline carryon with laptop inside. This was the perfect size for all these activities and is a good size for “walking around all day” when traveling. Also I discovered it has an exterior pocket just the right size for a manilla folder with some papers (great for my travel documents/paperwork) , and a couple other exterior pockets nice for Kleenex, pens, etc. I used a ziplock for my “purse items” ( wallet, lipstick, keys…) to keep them from getting lost among my jacket, water bottle, etc.

Bought this as a gift and my mother loves it. She carries her laptop and essentials everywhere there's many compartments that are great for organization. The neutral colors allow her to take it everywhere. Padding is great she dropped it and her Mac (with no case) was perfectly fine! Light weight yet durable.

The bag size and quality is decent for the price. I will keep it mainly cause it is cute in my opinion. Pros: Have good space to put stuff in it. Comes with the ubs wire Has multiple pockets/slots to put small stuff Have two outside pocket to put in umbrella/water bottle etc The straps is adjustable Back pocket Cons: The UBS wire came off The area where the UBS got some bad snitch cut off (but I don't really mind it that much)

I was tossed over purchasing this bag about two weeks prior to a trip I was taking, but I'm glad did. One of the main features I've enjoyed about this bag is the zippered pouch that faces inward on the bag's exterior. This pocket/pouch is great for keeping fare cards, phones, keys, etc nearby for easy access and security purposes. Even though this bag has lots of external pockets, I love that the internal pockets go deep enough that one could tuck away their wallet(s) with confidence However, there are some cons I have about this bag. I wish the tote straps were a bit longer and I wish there was a better way of tucking the backpack straps away when not in use. They just kind of dangle. Although, this bag is convertible, it reminds of a laptop tote.. i was able to store a 3/4 length packable coat in it with a few other things. But the bag can be a little narrow depending upon what your usage is. I don't know how water resistant the bag really is, but I think it'll be fine for keeping your things dry. Overall, I still gave this bag 5 stars across the board. I would have liked to pay just a tad less for it, but I'd purchase it again at it's regular price. I could see myself gifting this bag to many.

Within hours of receiving the box on my doorstep, I had it packed up with everything I needed for an overnight trip; there was no doubt that this was going to be my new favorite backpack. I was so surprised at the quality of this bag as soon as it was out of the packaging. The nylon is so soft, the handles are smooth and comfortable, and the backpack straps were by far the most comfortable out of three other backpacks I got from Amazon. My plan is to use this to go to Spain and as a teacher bag. The luggage strap/secret pocket on the back side was exactly what I was hoping for for traveling and the laptop pocket exceeded my expectations (my laptop is on the larger side and very few laptop backpacks close around it, but this bag housed the whole 15 inch laptop comfortably and without any obvious/uncomfortable bulging at the seams). I love totebags and was hoping to have the option to tote my things around Europe with the added security of a zippered backpack when needed. Have yet to try wearing it in the rain to check for water resistance, but judging from the material, I think it should handle it well. I got the teal color because the shipping was faster, but I ended up loving the green/teal/cream/tan combo so much more than I thought I would. My one tiny complaint would be that the interior lining of the bag is black and that can make it pretty tough to see what's inside the bag; not impossible, but tough nonetheless. All in all, I think it's my new favorite bag.
