This coat looks and fits as I expected it to. And I laundered it as soon as I got it because it's washable and I like to launder all my new clothes before I wear them the first time. It came out of the washer and dryer (following strict instructions) perfect. The coat is a little loose on me all over, but I wanted it that way so that I could wear a sweater or a blazer under it. It's synthetic and so it won't breathe well, therefore I won't wear it on a damp day - but for cold, dry weather it should be perfect. This coat is great for warmth. It will keep you warm in minus degree temps yet is not a heavy coat. That's the plus side of it. It shows it is solid black (or appears as) and has white threads as part of its design that I didn't care for when received. I do have a white cat and thought about it and they aren't noticeable because of this so for that silly reason I didn't return lol! Hides cat hairs well. The coat isn't a soft berger. It's course which means it does not drape very well. Makes a person look much bigger than they already may be. Be that as it may, because of the warmth (love it!) being light and the cat deal would recommend. Well made and lined nicely. Even extra button included. It runs one size too large. I ordered a size Medium but received a size 5X. The coat looked cheap and more like a bath robe. Obviously I returned it due to the size but I wouldn't reorder. I don't think it would be very warm either. It's lined in Polyester (satiny) fabric. Should have had a warm lining.

I couldn’t be happier with this coat. It has a loose fit and longer length, which is what I was looking for. I’m 5’5” and it hit mid-calf. The lining, including in the hood, gives the coat a finished look. I wore it yesterday and found it to be super warm but not uncomfortable. I am buying a second one in the shorter length and more casual color. Love it! ... show more

It is an excellent and very warm coat. On a 27 degree F night I was outside running around chasing cats with only a thin nightgown underneath and wearing flip flops. I stayed warm. Very warm. The only issue is that I got a size larger than I should have. So I decided to keep this one to wear as an outside bathrobe (I love it so nuch) and get a size smaller to wear out and about. It is pretty well made (thus says a professional seamstress); it is a really good value, and is so nice and comfy. Best of all, the black has a bit of white in the fibers, so cat hair doesn't show up on it very much. Buy it. You'll love it as do I. ... show more
