What can I say but it works. You must have the Wolverine system to add it to. It fits into the roughing gouge attachment. Some woodturner can do this by hand but this is more precise for some of us who need help getting the perfect edge.

    • Fills the bill
Several years ago I bought the basic Wolverine set-up but decided that I could do the whole job without any other add-ons. Well, I tried that, but was never completely satisfied with the way the skew edges turned out. Now, after using this amazingly simple add-on I have to kick myself for not purchasing it sooner. The edges on all my skew chisels look like I think they should look after sharpening and, what's even better, the work turned out is much, much better.     • Great for a straight small skew
Great for the small skew, but not so great for the large one. Very hard to get an even grind on the larger skew. So, I changed the large skew to have a slight radius and do it with the stand that comes with the wolverine kit. Much better.

    • Simple, well made, came in One day early.
I have made my own in the past but this simple design is just perfect. Simplicity is usually the cure for a complicated problem. The device arrived a day early, I attached it and ground a perfect 70degree radial skew gouge. I’m a happy camper.
