These tail lights are a breeze to install. Closed box to fully installed in less than ten minutes! They are very bright but not in an offensive way and give my Wrangler a super modern and rugged look. Ron and his staff were EXTREMELY kind and helped me resolve a question I had, going as far as to talk to engineers to tell me exactly how this light worked. They messaged me several times to follow up and asked me if I got my issue resolved. Absolutely outstanding customer service and product. I would give it 10/10 stars if I could. I installed the WOLFSTORM smoked-LED tail lights on my Jeep Wrangler (2007-2018 JK) and I’m already feeling like I’ve upgraded from “stealth ninja” mode to “I’ll blind you in the rear-view” mode. What I love: The black smoke lens gives the rear end a sleek, aggressive look — the kind of subtle “I mean business” vibe. The LED lights are bright and crisp, especially when braking or flashing the turn signal. I’ve noticed drivers reacting sooner (which is a good thing). Turn signal, brake and running lights all much clearer now. “Yes—I am turning. I am stopping. Please don’t bump me from behind.” Installation was relatively straight-forward (a few bolts, plug in the connectors, check alignment). For the price, you get a big visual upgrade compared to stock lights. My Jeep used to say “I’m stopping” in whispers; now it shouts it in LED boldface. Onlookers at stoplights: “Wait—is that a ninja tail light?” Seeing my reflection in the lens while reversing: yep, I look tougher. Bonus: no more “Did those brake lights even light up?” moments. The answer is a loud “Yes they did.” Things to watch / could be better: Because the lens is smoked/dark, if the LED brightness ever drops (or a bulb fails) it might be harder for others to notice in bright daylight. Some aftermarket users caution about tinting reducing visibility. ([Ford GT500][1]) * Fitment: While most owners say these plug-and-play, some after-market tail lights have reported minor alignment issues or compatibility quirks. Always check your local laws: smoked or tinted tail lenses may be subject to legality/visibility rules depending on state. One forum thread flagged this as a concern. Bottom line: If you’re ready to give your Wrangler a serious visual upgrade, and make your intentions crystal clear to drivers behind you (turning, stopping, backing out of the trailhead), then these tail lights deliver. I have an 08 wrangler. These lights look cool but… the screw holes don’t line up well and there is a significant gap between the body and lights. Be wary. Lights were plug and play. Installation was easy minus deficiencies.
