Super easy to install and set up

Does a great job. Sound is much better than the internal TV speakers. Had a slight problem and contacted their service by email and received a prompt reply with things to try. As it turned out the problem was in some of the audio settings in the TV. Would recommend.

Amazing sound bar for an unbelievably low price!
This sound bar from Wohome has been wonderful, and we’ve been very happy. We had been wanting one for some time, probably more than a year. I’m glad we did our homework and waited until we found this one. The 38” length is the perfect size for a 55” TV, and the 105dB output is perfect in a large grea
t room. It has superior quality with a total of 6 built-in speakers and provides a rich full sound. The built-in subwoofer produces a deep bass. The sound bar offers pre-set equalizer modes for music, movie, and default. It also has adjustments for bass and treble. It sounds great for tv, movies, and music. Hookup of the sounder was fairly simple with the easy-to-read instructions provided. I am a 65-year old woman and completed the connections and startup easily. The sound bar was up and running in a few minutes. Operation is very straightforward. The sound bar includes options for many different audio connections on the back of the sound bar. It has Optical, USB, RCA, Aux, and ARC(HDMI) ports. It is also a nice option that you can use the 5.0 Bluetooth connection to play music from your phone or other bluetooth devices. The ARC port has been invaluable, and I can’t say enough about that. ARC is the best option if you have a newer tv model that supports it. There are a lot of sound bars on the market, with a higher price tag, that do not include an ARC port. Once you are connected to the ARC port, and you have selected it as your Input, your tv remote control turns the sound bar on/off with the tv and adjusts the sound level as well. I’ve seen several complaints about needing a separate remote. However, when using the ARC option, the remote is not necessary unless you want to fine tune your sound preferences or change the input (to bluetooth for instance). However, if needed, the remote works flawlessly and allows you to customize the sound to your preferences. There are a number of comments and questions related to the speaker volume. After the speaker is turned off, the volume is then way too high when it comes back on. We had the same problem. Some people have stated that their volume came on at the maximum level, but our volume came on every time at a 37 level. You can contact Customer Support at Wohome through their website or by sending an email directly to support@wohomeshop.com. Be sure to include your Amazon order # for their reference, the model number (S29), an accurate description of your problem, your name, and your email. They responded with instructions and an update file that I could upload to the sound bar through a flash drive to the the USB port. It took them less than 4 hours to respond. The instructions were easy to understand, and I had this “fix file” applied within minutes. The fix worked, and our volume now comes on at an acceptable level. We have truly enjoyed the Wohome S29 sound bar. I would recommend it to anyone, and I was once a real audio snob, if not an audiophile. We really didn’t see the need to mount the sound bar, even though hardware is included. We decided to leave it on the console, and it is very attractive. There has also been an unexpected added benefit, because the sound bar has kept the cat away from sitting and walking in front of the tv!

Easy to set up, works well (need for "weaker" sound w/ DVDs and digital OTA recording). Only "complaint" is that there is no onscreen volume level indicator. For the price, this is a trivial problem.

Good deal! (for the 36" version)

2-MONTH UPDATE, 09/01/2021 (FOR THE 36" VERSION, MODEL S09): ----------------------------------------------- The product itself is great. I have nothing to say against it. Sound is still great, the remote control is still like new and very responsive. Absolutely nothing wrong. I love it. My opinion o
f the sound is still the same as well -- very clear voices and great background details for the size and price. HOWEVER, BE AWARE THAT WOHOME HAS CHANGED THE PRODUCT ON THIS LISTING. I bought the 36" soundbar on 06/21/2021 and received it on 07/05/2021. The product that is listed right now, on 09/01/2021, is a 16" soundbar. My review is NOT about the 16" soundbar, it is about the 36" soundbar. I'm sure other reviews written at around the same time as my initial review were about the 36" version as well. Pretty shady, if you ask me. This was my purchase: Soundbar Wohome TV Sound Bar S09 36-Inch 60W with Built-in Subwoofer, Bluetooth 5.0 and Optical AUX USB Inputs ================================ INITIAL REVIEW: ================================ This is just an initial review after installation and about 30 minutes of usage/fooling around. But I like it! I'm glad I took the Lightning Deal. Will update if there are any material changes to my opinion down the line. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have a 55" cheapo Chinese no-name brand 4k TV that has a nice, bright, clear picture but terrible terrible sound. I took my daughter's idle Echo Dot and connected it to our Fire TV Stick 4k over our home WiFi, and that's what we used as our "speaker system" for more than 6 months. The little Echo Dot provided much better sound than the TV, but if you have one, you know it's not super clear or loud or anything. Even just decent TV speakers would have been better than the Echo Dot. At any rate, it was fine for Youtube, but movies with tiny volume were hard to watch even with the Dot set to max. After receiving this soundbar today, I immediately unplugged the Echo Dot, went into the Alexa app to delete the Home Theater group that linked my Fire TV stick with the Dot, plugged in the power and optical cables for this soundbar, set the Input to Optical, rebooted the Fire TV stick, and boom! Much much better sound. It's much louder, much clearer, and has much more bass (comparatively, of course) than the Echo Dot. I did not jack up the volume to max because nobody should be doing that to new speakers. I'd say it's about 5-10x better sound overall than the Echo Dot. If someone were to offer me a set of 5" or 6" bookshelf speakers and a receiver for $60, I'd take that over this soundbar in a heartbeat. But for real life $60, I'm happy with this soundbar. And yes, it has SOME "bass". Not true low-frequency bass, but the kind that a small midrange woofer would produce, just enough for you to know that there is supposed to be some bigger bass there. My TV speakers would have produced zero of that and the Dot would have produced maybe 10%.

Take the rubber tips off optical cable!!

Very easy to connect If you take rubber tips off cable! 😆. Sound is better..not the best But what you would expect for low price!! Would give 5 star if instructions were a little more clear 🤔 .
