The Shroud was really easy to install and the adapter to my shop vac worked really good as well, But the blades that come with this product were just amazing. I’m working on a tile project. That’s approximately 800 ft.² but one room is 200. The other one is six. I started with the 200 square-foot room and I was able to tear through that thin set in less than four hours and the dust that came out of. It was so minimal. I was so scared to get dust in my home when removing the old mortar from ceramic tile that was left behind this tool was amazing. Absolutely very, very little dust and the quality is great and it did a tremendous job removing the old motor very quickly and effectively.

This gadget saved me a ton of cleaning! The masonry wheel cuts well. I wish it had an adapter for a regular sized shop vac tube, so I had to use an older Kenmore vac with it, but it did the job. I used it with a 4" angle grinder. It took a little fiddling around to center it and make it work, and I guess they knew this, because it has a centering adjustment, so all good. Came with parts to fit various sizes of grinder.

I didn’t think this would work as well as it did. Can’t be beat for the price. I used this to grind down the raised edges of cracks on my concrete floor in my basement. It did incredibly well at grinding down the raised edges quickly and without any dust flying around. I hooked it up to a shop vac and had no dust whatsoever. It filled up the shop vac filter fairly quickly, but I’d rather change a filter than have dust everywhere. It was a little difficult to get it to fit onto my 4.5inch grinder with the vacuum attachment facing a direction that was useable. I think I took out one or two of the small machine screws that let the cover move around to an over it to fit, but it still working fine.

Three different grinders and it simply doesn’t fit. We did get a kick out of it at least and it was only $40 bucks. Extremely cheap gear. Random connections are awkward and literally it could not possibly connect to a 4.5 grinder. We’ll just clean up the mess and not worry about throwing dust around.

works as advertised but your angle grinder must have a collar in order for the dust collector to tighten to. the diamond cup wheels are very nice quality and comes with all the necessary adapters for the angle grinder. The dust shroud is durable heavy plastic and worked well for what I needed it for..small bathroom floor project. The dust shroud would not hold up for long term of for regular use on larger scale jobs.

We tried to sand an uneven concrete surface. Despite the vacuum cleaner connected, it created a lot of dust and we couldn't achieve a flat surface, so the result was rather disappointing. This tool is only for very rough work.

actual operation of the grinding disk works great. the dust shroud mounting is poor and the "universal vac adapter" is a joke. it fits neither a standard 2.5", 1 7/8", or a 1 1/4" hose had to tape it together. mounting was tedious on a Hitachi grinder but it does work if your are patient. the dust collection works great if you can keep the hose on but the sizing of the universal adapter is a joke.
