So I bought these as a gift. I know a kid that was taking up drumming. He had no previous experience. So I bought these as a gift for him so he could have his own drum sticks. I do go with him to his drum lessons over the last couple months. I asked the music teach if these were good drum sticks. The teacher told me yes they are good drum sticks for a beginner, but if he sticks with drumming that in the future he might need more advanced or better ones. So these work well for a beginner.
