Extremely pleased with this purchase!! We used this tape to create an accent wall in my daughter’s bedroom and it turned out so well. I get compliments on it all the time. Couple tips I want to mention.. when putting applying this tape to the wall, my husband put a sock on his hand so that he could press firmly and smoothly without his hands sticking to the tape causing air bubbles. Second, we used a blade when we were laying the tape down on the ends so that the angles on the ends matched exactly. The tape cut very easily with the pressure from the blade. This tape sticks to the wall very well and so far we have had no issues with it coming off. So happy I opted to try this instead of the hassle of wallpaper!! ... show more

We've been making a lot of home improvements to our new (old) home, and we've spent a lot of money already on wallpaper for another room, so when it came to our office wall, we thought we'd spruce it up with some gold accents using this decal tape. It worked out great! It's not the stickiest tape ever, at least when it's placed onto our wobbly wall coated with eggshell finished paint...but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's sticking so far and not peeling off on it's own, but we know if we tire of it and/or want to change things up, it will be easy to remove and change! ... show more

I used this to "repair" plastic chrome trim on auto interior. I wet sanded old trim to provide an absolute smooth clean finish and then applied this tape. The result actually looks better than the original. My only concern is how well this will hold up since the old stuff had a clear plastic overcoat. I used this to make a train costume for my toddler for halloween. I love how shiney the tape is and at night it was almost reflective (which is a great feature in a halloween costume.) I got lots of compliments on the tape (and people asking if I had painted it.) I would have given 5 stars, but I wish the tape had a thicker backing on it. It is a very thin tape (thinner than scotch tape) which allowed all the imperfections of the surface to show through. It is really only noticable up close and if you're working with a surface that is not completely smooth (in my case, painted cardboard.) ... show more

I needed this to repair the handle on a GE microwave, which turned out to be covered with a cheesy metallized plastic which bubbled after about a year of use. This tape was easy to cut, flexible enough to take a tight curve, and adheres instantly and well. Is it a perfect repair? Probably not, but the handle looks great unless someone peers closely at it -- in which case that someone can get out of my kitchen. ... show more

Awesome tape! Great for crafting projects. The tape is very shiny so it really adds to your project. The tape is very sturdy & durable & won't peel off during time & it is also re position-able on certain materials before it completely bonds (which really comes in handy!). As you can see from pictures I made a hanging key board thing (dont know technical name). I own several apartments & rental properties & wanted to create something nice to hang on my office wall (& also organize all the property keys). I get compliments on it all the time on it... The ENTIRE look really is all pulled together by this skinny gold tape! PS: The frame is from Amazon as well; I ordered 2 mirrors for a rental unit being renovated & 1 broke during shipping but I didn't learn about it until months later when the contractor was hanging finishing touches. SO glad I didn't just throw it out like I originally planned on doing! PPS: There are 2 widths of gold tape used for this project & I'm almost certain this one is the thicker one. ... show more
