I've always had a good experience with WindyNation cables, and this was no exception! The cable is indeed very flexible, especially considering its heavy gauge (1/0 AWG in my case). Insulation seems durable. Stranded conductors should be 0.3680" in overall diameter, and they were bang-on as measured with my calipers. This is clearly real copper all the way through - no CCA or tin plating to be found. I ordered 10' per color and was sent a full 10' in each, plus an extra ~1" just to be sure. Price was also the best I could find for the length at the time I ordered. Definitely shop around, as with all commodities, the price per foot will vary somewhat based on the length you order and the manufacturer you order from - but I usually end up with WindyNation for all my cables because they are typically the cheapest, and I know from experience that I can trust the quality. ... show more

This is some very high quality cable. I am using 1/0 AWG for my starter and 2 AWG for my custom power distribution module and the cable not only has excellent sheathing but is very flexible and uses high quality copper strands. I was skeptical of this brand, but they're heavy as sin and 1/0 Lugs fit snugly on them. Love em and so do my amps. The angry pixies will flow a lot easier now. Very skookum. Bought this for a big 3 upgrade in my 09 Accord after an overload of amperage shut my car down while driving. The Sub and 4 channel Amps were seeing 9V due to my factory wires being corroded and loose. Now seeing a healthy 14.5 on the stock alt. 240amp HO Alt is up next.... ... show more

I expected the gauge to be a true zero gauge but it’s actually slightly smaller (See images; I already had the blue 0 AWG). Beside the delivery time the product is good quality. Perhaps this is a new standard for 1/0 AWG like a true 2”x4” lumber can only be found if you go to a saw mill. They are still called 2”x4” lumber but are actually 1.5” x 3.5”. ... show more

I used it to make cam-lock cords for 480 volt generator load-bank testing. good value for the money. Time will tell how the insulation will hold up to being dragged on the ground.... but so far so good.
