Maybe it's the placement of the bulbs into the dash but the brightness was inconsistent. The needles are SUPER bright, I love that. I suggest buying bulbs where the LEDs are not just facing forward but also on the sides of the bulb for more even coverage. The dimming ability isnt great it's more like there's 5 settings and no in-between them. A good buy IF your not a perfectionist. ... show more

Didn’t cover as much of the dash lighting as I wanted but I believe it’s more bc of the design of my gauge cluster lighting setup. Tested with a few other bulbs ordered and these came out with the brightest output and most coverage in comparison.

My boat dash used dim incandescent bulbs. I wanted brighter lights witg a little blue in the backlighting. These worked perfectly - there are two blue colors to choose from - I chose the ice blue color which has a little more white light. Super bright, lower proper drain, perfect. Dash lights now doing a great job for late night cruises and gave my dash a fresh look. Love them and highly recommended. Thank you! ... show more

    • Not a direct fit for replacing factory gauge lights.

The lights work if you do not lock them in the factory position. There are 2 notches that you align to install into holes in the instrument panel. Once you insert them , you twist to lock them in place. Well the bases that come with the bulbs turn too far before locking and don't make contact with the circuit board connections. The bases are not clocked correctly. I had to install and only turn halfway to make them work. Not ideal , as they can work loose with vibration from the vehicle over time. I give the bulbs 5 stars but the bases provided for the dash are not usable as is . ... show more
