Description

The Tazer is a device specifically designed for your vehicle. It unlocks features and allows existing features to perform in unique ways. Installation for the Tazer is a simple matter of plugging it into the diagnostic OBD2 Port. 2018 and up model vehicles require installing the Double Bypass harness or Bypass Module (Both Sold Separately) The Tazer can unlock SRT Drive modes, including Track, Valet, ECO (2015-18 Scat Pack), enable factory Sport Mode (5 speed and 8 speed), SRT EVIC Performance pages, and SRT performance pages* in the Uconnect 8.4 radio. Enable paddle shifters if you add the factory paddle-equipped steering wheel. Enable factory fog lights, backup cameras, extra video input, and more. Disable TPMS. Change DRL’s. Enable Shift Light on 2015+ (6.4L). Disable in motion navigation lockout. Disable seatbelt reminder chime. And more, see the user guide for a full list. Press 2 steering wheel buttons while stopped, and the ABS valves will hold the vehicle with the front brakes so you can hit the gas and do a perfect burnout as long as you wish, with no wear on the rear brakes. No plumbing is required! This is an ideal alternative to the traditional plumbed-in solenoid-type line lock/roll control. Super simple and cannot be detected! When Line Lock is in use, it temporarily disables traction control and for AWD cars, keeps the car in RWD mode. Using the key fob or steering wheel buttons and added dash menu, turn on a light show that flashes the exterior lights in 9 different patterns – there are 6 pre-configured patterns and 3 make-your-own. Perfect for car shows and parades. 2018+ Models: Due to the addition of a security module, a Double Bypass or Security Gateway Bypass Module (Sold Separately) is REQUIRED for the Tazer to function! The things you can do with this thing are endless! Installed in a 2023 SXT which means i found a lot of usage from this device. I was able to enable and install paddle shifters. Enable sport mode which i can toggle on/off from my head unit. Enable super track pack. Enable on screen performance timers and stats on the EVIC screen. Lots of customization options and QOL features. The best part is that it's set and forget. Works flawlessly as long as you follow their very detailed guide pages!     • Protect your investment! - Still works on 2025 Models
I just picked up one of the new '25 Durangos. In my research of finding a lot of performance Dodge vehicles are a hot commodity for thieves, I found Z-Automotive's Tazer products being one of the coolest gadgets on the market. Pairing this with the Security Gateway (For Jeeps and Durangos), I am amazed that "simple" programming changes the game to your car. I bought this mainly as a redundancy to an already installed kill switch for security in case the car does get started. The product works very well with my car. The Pin lock feature is incredible how it tells your computer to completely shut the car down in over 90% of potential theft situations. My concern was if the thieves simply removed the Tazer, they can drive it right off. That will NOT happen, as at that point the Tazer acts like a key. Removed or destroyed, your computer shuts the car down as it recognizes the Tazer is removed. Additionally, the customization features are pretty awesome, I don't really use many of them, but I know many others certainly appreciate that value as well. Frankly, this product makes me think manufactures should offer these security programs as a free option to all produced vehicles, pretty frustrating that this isn't an industry standard to protect your investment. However, well worth the money, if you have an FCA/Stellantis vehicle, get this now! ... show more

Is a great product just couldn’t get it to work on my car I think because I changed my gauge cluster and steering wheel would highly recommend I seen what they could do even though I couldn’t get it to work

    • Piece of junk that's flawed, dangerous and destructive to your car
Update: I was very impressed with the device and it worked great on my Jeep for 2 weeks. I even wrote a 5 star review. And then this morning I find my car immobilized, battery completely dead and the electrical systems screwed up to the point that I can't even jump start it, and throughout my 35 years as a driver I've jump started cars numerous times. I'm scared to even think how much it will cost me now to have my vehicle towed and repaired. And BTW I'm an electrical engineer that works on designing, programming and hands on maintaining manufacturing automated systems, so it's not like I did something wrong (apart from buying this piece of junk). I followed the instructions and enabled a couple of featured that worked great for a little while. Now I regret skipping the bad reviews. Don't do the same mistake. You shouldn't even think about putting this thing in your car even if it was free or even offered money to do so, much less paying $300 for it. And the company that makes them and sells them should be ashamed of themselves! ... show more

    • Unlocks So Much (UPDATE BELOW)
Does too much to explain but when I tell you it’s worth your money IT IS WORTH IT. But I can’t stress this enough make sure you do a full reboot and two sleep cycles every time you change a setting because it can force your dash to stay on and it will kill your battery and make sure it’s always up to date on its updates!!! Update*** for some reason it acts so weird with my Dodge Durango RT but my wife’s Jeep Grand Cherokee it works perfectly fine so it stays in my wife’s jeep majority of the time still if very useful just wish I could understand why mines reacts the way it does with it ... show more

Esperé mucho tiempo para comprar este tazer y no me arrepiento, mejoro por completo la apariencia de me auto , pantalla y radio , y con las páginas srt mi auto mejoró mucho en la carretera , no agrega caballos de fuerza pero la aceleración es más rápida
