Great Value for a person who knows they are going to have to buy your own quality train horn button and compressor switch. Most important thing I'd to ensure you have a good ground to get the best current. Without a good ground, you will have voltage drop that will cause the motor to perform really slow 🐌. We bolted ground/negative wire to chassis, but had voltage drop from 14v to 6v. We then ran a wire to the same negative that the battery goes to....perfect...no voltage drop. Some people may say compressor is crap, but may actually be a bad install with a bad ground that burns up the motor. I'd buy this train horn setup again in a heartbeat. Just take your time with the install and everything should turn out perfect. Things I would recommend buying in addition... Amp wire kit (we did 4 gauge) (2) Terminal Block to terminate positive and negative wires. Wire looms to protect wire and give it that professional look. Shrink wrap for wire looms (small torch to heat/shrink) Terminal connectors Train horn button 12v switch 120/150 psi pressure switch (200 psi is too high and harder on compressor and hose) 80 psi blows plenty hard and loud. Sounds like a legit train horn... and I have bought Horn Blasters and Kleins. Those are both great too...but this is an awesome value.

The media could not be loaded. Everything needed was included. I followed some other recommendations and purchased a lower pressure cut off so the compressor will come on at 120psi and cut off at 170psi. I completed a quick test to check for leaks and sound before installing on my truck. So far so good.

Installed them, works awesome. Hades to buy extra wire and air line due to the location of the parts. Definitely worth the money. Extremely loud !!

We assembled the whole system on a bench before installation did a leak check. I would advise that for sure. The only things this kit needs to make it a 5 star is 1-more than 6’ of air hose for the horn, 2- a relay and a cleaner button for the horn. I’m putting a lower pressure switch in it I think 200 is asking a lot. So it’s not a bad kit. But I think the lower psi pressure switch will make it last.

I liked the packaging and the sound of the horn, but overall an kinda disappointed. Here’s why Advantages- horns super loud Small design Easy to install Disadvantages- 2/7 holes were tapped the rest I had to tap so it would thread in Horn button was broke soon arrival, went to use it and it didn’t work properly. Had to buy a button Takes way to long to fill up the tiny tank Only 6ft of nylon tubing which you can’t do much with. The disadvantages outweigh the advantages but once I overcame the disadvantages the kit was actually pretty decent and I used a relay system to trigger the compressor to turn on and off with the pressure switch.
