This dresser is nice and simplistic. It could definitely be used in a dorm room (4 drawer tall dresser). I would say that the assembly is easy and just needs to be read properly. I’ve assembled many of my own appliances and furniture many times before so it is not hard at all. I can see where it could be complicated, but just step away from it for a bit if you need to. I’ve seen photos of peoples wood breaking, but I’m thinking they pressed to hard on the screws that locked in with the furniture and just chipped it themselves. I had no problems. It all has to do with knowing when to apply pressure. The dresser is not that sturdy when empty, but when filled with clothes it holds up pretty well. One of the bolt set in the instructions where mislabeled so there was some confusion but longer of the two sets goes into the stand side while the other connects the stand to the main unit. Other than that this is a nice unit, it took me 2-3 hours putting it together myself which is not recommend in the instructions, so if you can at least two people should build this. Carefully read the instructions and you should have a nice unit on your hands. ... show more

This 4 drawer dresser is really nice! At first when I opened it, it seemed like it was hard to build, but it was actually very simple to assemble together. The parts are made out if excellent quality, smooth and durable. After finishing the dresser, it looked great! Also the dresser is pretty compact and you can put a good amount of belongings in it, it also does not take up too much space. One. Thing that stood out really well for me, that is my flooring matches exactly with the texture and color of dresser,witch is really nice! Just move into a new house and need some storage for my bedroom. I found this WLIVE 4 drawer's Gray Oak color matching my room's style. It came as bigger than I expected. It is 36.7' tall in total. The rolling unit is quite smooth and barely makes any sound. The wood is quite heavy~50 LBs. I love the fact that it comes with a metal base that will keep the mainframe from water and easy for cleaning. Installation does take some time but does not take so long with the help of a driller. Packaged very well and with care!! Everything was in perfect condition. I loved the instructions. Not only were they clear and organized. But the pictures were perfect and they even gave pointer and examples of what to avoid. It looks just like the picture color and everything. Only thing is keep in mind that the legs arent ment for moving around lot. So if you enjoy rearranging, handle with great care! Lift dont slide. Loving it though!!! 💚 ... show more

    • Horribly hard to assemble, very flimsy and small

I really wanted to like this since it looks so modern and it is a great price, but assembling was a nightmare. Issues: - Too many little parts, took me 4 hours - Very flimsy and unforgiving. As you tight the screws, the wood starts to break - There is one particular movement at the beginning where the wood completely broke. I was able to tight everything together, but from the inside it looks a mess - Very easy to make mistakes, but hard to go back. For example at the end I figured out the white part of the drawer should be inside, but since the entire thing is so flimsy it is next to impossible to retrace steps since you might break it more - Top two shelves are extremely shallow - a bit less than 3 inches. Was planning to put clothes but it should fit 2-3 layers at most of flat clothes - Overall the unit is small for my needs In the end I assembled this damn thing so wont be able to return - will use in the entrace to store keys, etc. But also bought the companion that is slightly larger, will return unopened box. Not planning to go through this misery again. My suggestion? Stick to Ikea, better construction and easier to assemble. ... show more

After the assemble, you will see the drawers that slide in and out very smoothly, the quality is good ,the height just right, the color just matched my room very nicely.
