I have a few pieces of this brand; I like the wood look. I use them as dressers, they are just the right size and I like the little shelves for other bedroom things I don't want to clutter up the top. They are well worth the money. I bought the end tables, coffee table and the long 3 tier sofa table too, all worth the money and the look is great with my other furniture. I put off putting this together because the seller said do not leave it away from wall as it might tilt over. Took me 2 months to finally put it together and almost sent it back. To my surprise and delight, manufacturer was wrong. It is very sturdy and is standing alone by my computer desk. I loved the way the shelves were made. There was an indentation to slide them in for extra sturdiness. They slide in on the pins in a groove. My other bookcases are not made that well. This cabinet seemed to have several features I found very nice. I would have to push it over for it to tilt over. I will probably order others from this line.     • Good Unit - dont sweat the assembly

Very satisfied with this little unit – working from home, I just needed a little extra drawer space since my desk only has the center ‘pencil drawer’. I've seen some people concerned about assembly, so I’d like to address that here: YES – there are a lot of fastening parts, BUT – what you need to do is get out some bowls/parts trays/coffee mugs/whatever, and sort the pieces out, and you’ll find there are really only about 5 different parts, just a lot of them. Basically all you’re doing is just putting together 5 boxes. first box, you take two sides and bolt them to the back, slide the bottom board into the precut slot, then bolt the front on and use 2 screws to attach the pull handle, and Viola! A drawer! Now just do the exact same thing three more times and that's about 75% of the job! for the main cabinet – it’s still just a bigger box. Still just a bottom (the metal legs beneath it screw right together, no problem) – then again, two sides, slide the back boards into the slots, attach to the bottom, and then the top, and done! Cabinet! (note, the directions have you do the cabinet first) the scary drawer slides?? Nothing to it – two screws into the pre drilled holes in the cabinet for each drawer (the assigned pre drilled holes means no worries about getting them level), then the corresponding parts on the bottom of each drawer also just have two screws each, in pre existing holes. the instructions say you need two people, but I did it myself with no problem – I just put a beach towel over our coffee table to save scratching, and sat on the couch and knocked it out while watching football. The only mistake I made was I put the first drawer handle on upside down which was a simple fix. I just wanted to put this out there, in case anyone was concerned about assembly difficulties. I didnt time myself, but I did it in less time than the football game took, and that included a break for dinner, and cheering on my team, LOL. Best wishes. ... show more

This dresser/nightstand is perfect for what I wanted!! I purchased a new mattress and I needed a higher nightstand to go with it. Had a hard time finding something this tall. Love the extra storage too. Room for remotes, bedtime books, clothes and more. Wasn't sure about the color matching my other oak furniture but it was close enough. I am a 57 year old female and I put it together myself, a couple hours. Very easy instructions. Great price for what I have been looking for!! Oh, also, My hvac vent is right beside my bed under the stand and the opening under the stand let's the air flow through perfectly, another plus!! ... show more

    • No Instructions but not a problem

I have built a lot of furniture over the years so I knew to carefully remove everything so that I could get an accurate count to compare to the instructions. Slight problem - my box lacked instructions. I contacted the seller but got started on the drawer assembly while waiting. They were easy to assemble and I was able to unload my old dresser into the new drawers. I was still waiting. So I started going through every box in my email account. It had landed in the junk box and gotten buried under mounds of junk emails. But looking at the date and time stamp - the seller had made swift return on my request for instructions. I looked over the remaining instructions and easily assembled the main dresser body. All you really need for this dresser is a regular phillips head screwdriver and the hex key that is in the package. It recommends 2 people but one person can do it alone if they don’t rush the job. It is a small dresser compared to what I grew up with but it perfect for my studio. I would recommend 2 for side by side usage if you want a regular American sized dresser. It’s a sturdy little piece that’s easy to put together - even if you get the instructions via email. :) ... show more

This was perfect for my space. Went together easily (by 1 person) and there were extra hardware pieces just in case, which I appreciate. It's very sturdy and attractive. I only gave it 4 stars because it is much darker in color than the photo. I wouldn't have purchased it initially if I had seen the actual color. But it works with my office furniture, serves it's purpose and I'm satisfied. ... show more
